Le'me know and I'll grab groceries beforehand. And John, if you want to make it to us quicker, just take the 401 to the 403 Hamilton bound, stay on that to the Lincoln Alexander Parkway Exit (just after you've entered Ancaster while still on the 403), then go east on the Linc all the way to the end where it turns into Mud St. Keep going east on Mud through 4 sets of lights and voila......you'll see the Tims/Wendy's at the intersection. Go through that 4th intersection (which is Centennial Pkwy) to enter the parking lot.

Le'me know if the 1030ish time is OK with you guys.

Mark
Guys from the TO area are we gonna meet up around TO and drive out? Or are we just gonna meet at Timmy's ?

Is this the TImmy's your talking about Mark (77km's from my house.. HEHE)

Ben,

The timmy's Mark is talking about its at the corner of Centennial Parkway and Mud road

It seems that I'm the only one from the west end driving in... if you want we can make arrangements to follow each other.

Steak sounds good to me. If I leave my place at 8:30 I should be able to get to Tim's around 11:00. I will try to leave a bit earlier. If you guys don't see me at Tim's by 11:30 leave without me. It means I got lost or pulled over by the OPP :P

John, just a suggestion, you can always just meet us at the track... you'll be driving back the same way anyways.

Ok after searching for quite a while (Timmy's site doesn't show the right location). Google maps has pointed me in the right direction!

Looks like a big parking lot from the satellite view

well my entire weekend is screwed........I have the worst luck. I have to bring my car into Ford on Monday. I had to remove the stock air filter because the car kept bogging down, so I put the MMR intake back on. Things were going well until me and a friend decided to take the car to a back road to see if I could "improve" my launch time for the track. Well after the third run we heard a loud bang. Now I have a metal on metal sound coming from the transmission. Doesn't look like I will be making it tomorrow

I'm not sure what it is, all I know is I drove it home extremely slow. It feels a bit stiff when shifting as well Hopefully nothing major cause I got a quote today for $7,500 to install the Roush Supercharger.

Which Timmy's is it?
I can make it there for 10:30 -11 and we can take off from there.
No problem with the turf part Pete but as for the surf.....finish this line......blow _ _ !

If you promise to be there at the 1030'ish mark, I think we should all wait for you. If everyone's good with that, then I'll be there for 1030 with coffee in hand awaiting the rest of the troops.

Steve - got your message, thanks.

Thumbs down

Guys - sorry i've been so quiet, but i can't tell you how busy i've been at work. i get home so late at night all i want to do is sleep!

anyways, my car is in "gimpy mcseizure" mode right now so i won't make it tomorrow i didn't know that you have a limit to the unlocks on the SCT - i lent it to my boyfriend to use on his F250 diesel last weekend (wasn't using my car) and i guess that was the last unlock. so now my car is stuck in stock tune, but with CAI and exhaust and 91 octane in the tank, and it keeps throwing codes and once in a while it goes in to this crazy bog down mode where it will only go about 2 mph with the pedal to the floor. it's kinda scary actually, especially when making a left turn in an intersection.

anywhooo, i'm getting it all sorted out but not in time for tomorrow. boooooo

kristina

OK, we'll see who ever's left at the Tims between 1030 and 1100. Seeing as I'm the local guy, I'll also have my cell if you're lost on just a bit behind, the number is (Galaxie has it)

See ya soon - Mark

Mark,

I took your cell number down because my telemarketer friends always view this forum. I already PM'd my cell to everyone who's going and have yours as well.

Great day,
the track was pretty open when we got there....
Started to fill up and the big guns got a lot of the time while we the waiting happened.

Fastrack has tonnes of pics.
I didn't run either.

Mark and Steve ran, and it was very cool to see/hear all that stuff.

We'll have to do it again, and go when the track opens.

Why is it that on the way home I wanted to punch it from every light
