Ok...

It looks as if the Track doesn't open until 4pm on the 27th.... I will call them when I have the chance to double-check. so either we skip the track and just do a meet, or go to the track later (which I may not be able to do)

This date is starting to look worse for me...

Hey Derek, how about you fix up that sig :P

Suggestions everyone?

I'm guessing the track is probably booked or some event on that morning that day....

While the weather is going to be crap for the next week or so...
The long term forcast looks nice for that weekend...

Ok... I'll call cayuga tommorow to verify the track time

another idea is going to st. thomas dragway. Its a bit farther out of the way for all of us, but their track time fits. The London Area Mustang Club is also having a shootout with the F-body club.

If we can't come to an agreement, we can push the date back as well.

Ok... I called Cayuga (Toronto Motorsports Park) They are open at 10am on the 27th, depite the confusion on their website.

That being said, they are calling for nice weather that day... are we on?

Stick to the original plan?!?!
Comeon boys...(and gals...)

I'm still in for whatever that day,
and if others are curious about the next day at NoyzBoyz, I'd go to that if others are as well.

ok, can we please recap on what the plans are for the day. They are calling for great weather and I plan on going but it would be nice if we could decide on what we are doing cause that is a bit of a haul for me.

Agreed.
Galaxie found the track is open for 10.... I have an appointment at 9:45 and should be able to leave the niagara area around 10:30ish.

Whatever you guys want to do is fine with me.

What really bites is that we are still not all sure who is going, as the board crash...etc

The essential plan was to meet up somewhere in hamilton/stoney creek first for a coffee (if its on your way), drive to cayuga, do some driving. Once everyone gets tired/hungry/out of gas/ broken driveshaft then go somewhere for a bite to eat.

Lets get some people posting as to who can go to make better plans

well I will be leaving here around 8:00 which means I could make it to Cayuga around 10:30 am. I might do a run or 2 just to see how much I suck at shifting.

Basically I think we need to figure out what time everyone will be meeting at

1) Coffee - when and where
2) Cayuga
3) Where afterwards for food

As Pete said, we are not sure who all can make it since we lost the orginal thread. I just don't want to make the trip if there is only going to be a few people going (no offense).

I think it is time we turn this into a poll to find out who plans on attending on Saturday. They are calling for around 30 degree weather around my area so hopefully the light rain on Friday has already made it past Toronto. If it is raining when I wake up I'll have to pass. The car took a serious beating on the highway the last trip due to crappy weather.

John,

I sent a PM to any local members I could think of, hopefully they chime in and we can solidify plans. Also, closer to the date it would be good to know if there will be rain or not. I'd like to finalize plans by wednesday or Thursday. I'm even going to do a follow-up with the track with the start times and what happens if there a quick rain shower, etc.

Hey

At this point I'll be attending if not I'll be at my cottage. I'm assuming this is the right place:
Toronto Motorsports Park
1040 Kohler Road
Cayuga, Ontario, Canada
N0A 1E0
Phone: (905) 772-0303

I'm not sure I'll make any runs at the track, but I'll be sure to take some pictures.

It looks as if its official, the track opens at 10:00am

Who else wants to go? I'm probably going to be there no matter what

By the way, $30 for car & driver, $15 for spectator

Hey everyone, just back from Florida and very glad to see everything's still on - thanks Pete & Steve for everything. Envir. Canada says 26 and sunny so let's hope !!!

Anyways, for a meeting spot, how about the Tim Hortons at Centennial Parkway and Mud St. which is in Upper Stoney Creek and on the way to Cayuga (for just about everyone now that Caledonia is "blocked" or "unblocked" - depending on which day it is).

The TH there has a huge parking lot and depending on what time Steve says is optimum to arrive in Cayuga, we can wait up for Pete.

If that's OK, le'me know. I'll also need a rough idea for attendance at my place for the afternoon BBQ (and for reference, the TH's is about 2 minutes from my house so it's not going to be out of the way for anyone heading home later).

See everyone soon - Mark

Luckily the route I have taken before doesn't go through Caledonia

Once we get a better idea who is all coming out, we can finalize when/where we are meeting, although I know that Timmies on Mud street is a very good idea.
