We lost our other thread before, so here is another one

I personally am a no-go the weekend of the 3rd, the 27th I would have to leave after Cayuga, the 13th I am free the whole day.

If any one has some other creative ideas for things to do, by all means, suggest them

May 13th is the best for me, June 3rd is the weekend before the other Heart Lake meet. So I'd rather not miss two cottage weekends in a row.

3 days after my car is out of storage she's all wet. darn rain.

well I selected the 27th just to be different I can probably make it on the 13th. The first and 3rd weekend are no good for me.

oh, and tell me more about the Heart Lake meet.

27th for me also. I wouldn't recommend Hess Village though. Parking on the street is limited and parking in a lot behind the village (or anywhere out of sight) will result in the cars attracting maggots......and I don't mean the larvae kind.

My place is still OK for an "end of the day" BBQ by the way.

Mark,

I thought it would have been a cool photo-op, I wasn't sure how busy the village was in the morning.

Can anyone suggest another good locatation to meet up in the area? Even a timmies parking lot would be good or somewhere for lunch.

What time does the track open?
And what would be a good time to get the best possible times (temperature wise during the day? first thing in the morning? lunchtime?)

First thing in the mnorning you tend to get cooler air and lunch would almost be best for traction but I find better times first thing in the am. I believe the track opens for 10am on test and tune days and 4pm for test and tune nights.

Id advise getting to the track earlier rather than later as the civics tend to show at 12 or 1

Steve......let me think about places around here for a photo op and I'll get back to everyone. Yup, Hess Village is pretty and you're right, not to many critters out in the morning, so I'll go through this week to see exactly how much room there is. Also, I'm not positive as to who's open for breakfast or coffee in the morning there. None of the restaurants come to mind as early risers. But again, I'll check.

Be in touch - Mark

Hmm... I emailed cayuga for clarification, still awaiting a reply.

It seems the track doesn't open until 4pm on the 27th, but it opens at 10 almost every other saturday

http://www.torontomotorsportspark.co...y/schedule.htm

I'll keep you guys posted.

I may go there just for kicks by myself one saturday or sunday beforehand.

because it looks like we will have a bigger turn out on the 27th than we will on the 13th. I won't make it on the 13th cause if I get my car back next week I will be working on it all weekend.
