Does anyone know of a speed shop in the NW that does custom tuning using the Predator? I have a K&N cai and the predator tuner. My car pings above 4500 RPM unless I have the Carbon trap installed. If anyone has used a NW shop, were you happy with your tune?

If you go to Diablosports webpage you can find the info on a few dealers in the area. Click on the "our dealers" in the left hand column and that should lead you to where you need to go.

There is a place located in Bellvue, not sure how good they are but you can find all the info about them on the Diablosport webpage.

Or you can play around with data logging and fix it yourself throught the adjustable parameters section in the Predator if you know how to do that kind of thing.

Nick

P.S. I am currently running the basic 91 octane tune. I should be getting the canned tune for the JLT intake back from DTP by weeks end.

Nick, how's the JLT CAI working for you? I see he's got a new series II intake. Do you have any pictures of yours installed?

I think I'm going with the SCT Xcal2 and either the JLT or AFE. Does the JLT mounting seem secure?

I have had my JLT intake on for 500 miles now with absolutely no problems what so ever. Nothing has come loose and it sits nicely in the engine bay. It is safe to say that JLT has worked out all their kinks and their customer service has been top notch

I have the first edition pipe w/ the billet insert and it works beautifully. Although, I have to admit the new pipe does look better, but from a performance aspect they are the same from what Jay @ JLT says.

Earlier in the year I sacrificed some acceleration for 20in wheels (heavy), but with the JLT intake and DTP/ 92 octane tune it definetly makes up for the lost acceleration and some. I haven't had it dynoed or anything, but there is without a doubt diff in power and the refined shift points that the tune gives you is awesome. It feels like a entirely different car.

Overall, fit and finish + performance aspects + customer service, I couldn't be happier.

Here's one more.

And one last note. The intake gives the exhaust a heartier roar in the higher RPM's.

Here's a picture of the 2nd edition intake from JLT.

As you can see the only difference is the area where the filter & air sensor mounts is billet instead of plastic. Plus it has "JLT" etched on it.

Thanks for the reply Nick. I do like that painted pipe. I have the painted engine cover and the pipe would go very well with it. I really like your wheels too but not sure the wife will go for it. She said wider is OK but not low profile.

I keep trying to get her to buy her own V6 with a pony package so we wouldn't have to agree on what mods we make to OUR GT.

I'll be making my decision soon.
