Where to eat dinner at on Sunday night
NIOCE!!! Yea.. 7:30 sounds good to me.
I made a couple different trips to Dearborn to figure out what's the best way for you guys that are staying at The Sleep Inn would be.
Lemme tell ya.. you out of town folks are gonna know why Michigan is also known as the orange barrel state
It would've been really easy to shoot up I-75 north, to Southfield (M-39 I think).. and the go West bound on Michigan Ave and turn left on Monroe street and park behind LaShish.. but nooooooooo... they have the exit ramp for Southfield closed. Thought it would be opened by now.. but it isn't.
So.. I took a couple different ways and honestly, even though it might seem longer for it.. because of stop and go traffic.. it's probably the easiest way. Especially if you aren't familar with Michigan Idiot Loops as we call them here
So... Here's the way that would be the best for you guys....
Take I-75 north bound (there's some construction on the right hand lane.. so stay in the far left or close to the left.
From there take Telegraph northbound.. the entrance is on the left hand lane on I-75.
And then go all the way down Telegraph... there is, of course.. some construction on Telegraph near where the ramps for I-94 is at.
And the take East Bound Michigan Ave.
Turn right on Monroe street (there's a light there) and park in the back of LaShish.
If you guys need pictures of what to look for.. I can run up there tonight after work and supply them
For Brad and Bridget... I could meet you 2 at the hotel and you guys can either roll with me, or follow me, up to LaShish. We'll be taking Allen Road to Southfield to Michigan Ave.
La Shish West (Near Monroe)
22039 Michigan Avenue
Dearborn, Michigan 48124
313-562-7200
I made a reservation for Sunday at 7:30 for 20 people... under the name AMY or The Mustang Source

If you run into any trouble.. gimmie a call or something. I now have Sunday off from work too.
But I think Telegraph is the best way. It's just stop and go traffic.. and there's mild construction on North I-75, also on North bound Telegraph AND on East Bound Michigan Ave. hahaha lil dusty.. but I know where there's some decent car washes at too.... but traffic shouldn't be too bad on Sunday.
And you'll pass the 50's McDonalds that a lot of people hang out at.
I also asked some people on a few local sites if they wanted to join us too... so we shall see
Meeting up with a few of them tomorrow night.. so I'll drop the word to them there too.

Excellent - looking forward to it. I've informed the Ford (Nick and possibly his girlfriend) and MRT (Scott, his wife Lisa, and David Raburn) folks about dinner. I believe we will have at least 4 Bullitt people and 6 Mach 1 people as well. That totals up to 15 people right there!
Yup.. already reserved for 20 people at 7:30 on Sunday... under the name "AMY" or "The Mustang Source" Didn't wanna confuse the guy with all the names. haha.
If we need more spots.. I'll call up there and tell them we might have some more joining us.

Sorry it's kind of last minute, but I guess I can go now, I was able to get off work a lil earlier so hope I see you guys there. This is what I look like so direct me to your table if you see me before I see you...I only know what Amy, Brad and "Proc".
I PM'ed you my number Joe incase you get lost.
Do you guys from out of town still need pics of what the place looks like? I was busy at work last night and just wanted to come home and crash, completely forgetting to take pics :bang:
The directions I gave are good for the people coming from the Sleep Inn across the street from AAI. Sorry that it seems out of the way-ish... but construction is everywhere.
I'll roll up there now and snap a few pics...

I would appreciate any pictures you can give us. I hope to see them before I leave Cincinnati in about 3 hours. Thanks for everything, Amy, and the Bullitt and Mach 1 clubs will see you tonight.
Ok... maybe these might help a little.. and maybe one of you guys brought a laptop with ya... This is for the people coming from the hotel across from AAI.
Go North Bound I-75... stay in the left lane and take North Bound Telegraph. Taking Telegraph about 12 miles (I think.. but we go by minutes here) or so to Dearborn.. turn right on East Bound Michigan Ave
You'll know you're in the Dearborn-ish area when you past Van Born Road and past the 50's McDonalds on the right hand side.
Here's what the entrance ramp to Michigan Ave looks like when on Telegraph (north bound, to east bound Michigan Ave)
Stay in the second to the right lane when on telegraph... the far right lane cuts out just before where the Toyota dealership is at... making that second to right lane, the far right lane.

Just after the Toyota dealership on the right.. is where the entrance ramp is at.

Stay in the second to the right lane while on Michigan Ave. The far right lane.. after the Ford dealership, cut out into Outer Drive. It's a huge intersection there.

Stay in the far right lane when you pass Outer Drive. This is were a lot of business is are at.. and it becomes 2 lanes for each side.
You can either turn right on Mason Street (shown here with Bailey's on the corner) and then turn left into the huge parking lot in back.

OR...
Go up a little, just past La Shish

Front on the building looks like this..
And then turn right onto Monroe street

Steak House and Dearborn Music on the corners.

Monroe Street
And the turn right into the huge parking lot...
Building looks like this in back

Bonus 05 Camo Mule for the heck of it

See you guys tonight.
