my vote goes for 1. LaShish

only if there is other things on the menu besides veggies, me and veggies don't get along very well, I usually like some kind of meat and potatoes....it sounds like a different place than I would usually go to.

Cool Thank ya!!

I'll go to any of the places listed.. so I'm no help

And Brad... I'll have to show you the best route to take to Dearborn from Southgate... it's easy.. but you wanna stay away from the construction that's on Southfield.. It can be a PITA, especially at night and during rush hour, when can be at anytime.

Got the PM Tony.

7pm should be fine. I don't remember what time Brad and the wifey get into town... they'll be at the hotel not far from where I live and I hope they booked a flight through Northwest, dunno wanna scare them with the old airport haha

If everyone is down for LaShish.. that's cool. I would just feel bad if everyone was a picky eater like I am hahaha. I'll bring some Faygo and Pepto.

So if you want the people from the Mach 1 and Bullitt club to meet there too... then that's cool.

You know what LaShish location I'm talking about.. right? Gather up your numbers and I'll see how many we have from here and I can see if they'll reserve an area for us all.

Thanks, Amy V6. If you could give me the address of the LaShish location, I'll make a little MapQuest and get our gang to convoy over there from Flat Rock. At this point, I am expecting 6-8 people, but it could be a few more. We'll do whatever time works for when B & B make it into town.

There's a new cherry-flavored Pepto by the way. I'll bring ya some...

Brad you should rent a stang, I know Hertz rents out v6 convertibles.

Alrighty.

I'll let you guy know that there is construction on Southfield Road (before it turns into a highway) which could be a slight PITA.

It's normally easy to hop on I-75 north bound and then get off on the Southfield Exit.. but there's construction there and that exit is closed. And then head up Southfield to Michigan Ave.. West Bound.

I don't work tomorrow.. lemme drive a couple routes and see which way would be the easiest to get to point A to B. Mapquest is also a PITA at times.. so lemme work out a route

Brad -- if you're reading this.. the hotel you're staying at is right up the street from me and is near I-75... I could meet you and Bridget at your hotel and you guys can either ride with me or follow me to LaShish or where ever we all eat at
And I'll also call LaShish, or just go up there and see if I can reserve a spot for maybe 15 people.. give or take. Parking shouldn't be bad.. there's a huge lot in back.

And I've gotten a few PM's about LaShishes food.

Middle Eastern food can be on the spicy side... and a lot of it is rich in vegetables.. but also chicken and lamb is huge too. And some of the food might look like baby doo doo hahaha.. like hummous

I'm a HUGE picky eater. So I tend to stick to the basics.. so I might be a bad person to ask about how middle eastern food taste.

Oh and just call me Amy hahah the V6 part is just added on.. I'm that name on every board I'm on, I just kinda got stuck with it.

I saw Brad's other post in this forum where he mentions the plane arrives at 5:30pm. Perhaps we should say 7:30pm for dinner rather than 7 to give some time for hotel check-in and arrival.

What do you think?

Brad, you will like LaShish. My staples there are the Chicken Tawook (minus pickles) with a side of Hummous and Pita Bread. I always ask them for a side of their garlic sauce (its unreal if you like garlic). The "raw" juice (fresh fruit) drinks are really good to. Next door is the Double Olive, a neat martini bar, if you all decide to have a night cap.

It doesn't look like I'll be able to make dinner (will try if I can), but I will see you all at the Motor City Kitties baseball game on Monday.

Amy (sans V6),

Is the plan for 7:30pm as the time to meet? This should give Brad and the wife to make it to the hotel and check-in first.

Also, the Mach 1 and Bullitt clubs have asked Scott Hoag (the former program mgr for both cars and now MRT owner) and Nick Terzes (Ford SVT engineering) to join us. Tentatively, that could add up to 4 additional people to the guest list, beyond the Bullitt and Mach 1 owners.

Let me know!
