Had round 2 of mods done last month. She now feels like a faster stronger beast! and like brand new feel again!
This round included Mcleod twin disc clutch, Kooks long tube headers, Tremec T-56 Magnum XL 6 speed, and unplanned rear end rebuild with 3.73's, new FRPP girdle cover, and Moser axles.
Very impressed and happy! Bullet proof now! besides the block, but running a safe tune.

Will you try and catch any on track events this year.... if they actually happen? I have a one day deal at the Autobaun in Joliet. Class and track time with a teacher in your car. it was a gift. there are a couple Porsche club events in the area. maybe. They call them educational track days i think. the one I did in Vegas was 400 for two days.
Ive done full day events at Autobahn, i went through MVP track times to get in. My son really wants to get his GTO out on it too and race dad, lol.
I have intentions on moving to South Carolina soon as I can, so road track day is low on the list, but high on the want list, lol.

I hit up the 2nd annual Ford fest last month in Bowling Green KY. My son travels with my cousins company that runs the marketing for many car events, like hot rod power tour, Quest for ultimate street car, etc. So I took the 500 mile drive down, did some drag racing. Finally 11's! This was my first time on the strip in a loooong time, and practically with a new car(mods).
I was so out of practice, and unaware was a pro tree, but still managed my best time on the first run. shes got more in her, just need to work on the driver mod again, and the right shoes.(stiff shoes could not feel the gas pedal)
But it was a blast, there was a huge car show, AutoX, start stop competition, swap meet, dyno, drag racing from 5-6 second cars and an 8 second Electric Cobra Jet, burn out contest.
Car suspension was set up on my daily drive/stiff settings. You can see there was like no weight transfer(no bueno) But still still took off!
Good times!
