Hi Midwestern folks!
Been a while since I've been on.
See the thread has quieted down a bit.
Still have the Boss, hoping this never ending cold will go away so I can get it out more.
Hope you all are doing well.
Larry

Well I went to the Ford dealer up the street and they are wanting to do more custom work and want their name out so they said $300 painted and installed. SOLD. Not a bad price. They race a open wheel car in the P-1 class in SCCA and have just brought one of Robby Gordon's old nascar to fix up to race in SCCA.

I'm not here. You didn't see anything.

I bought my louvers pre-painted and installed them myself. My issue now is, well, my brother-in-law wrecked my car and now I need to figure out how to take them out. They surely won't come out as easy as the glass.

I know what I would do. I would take my brother in law by the neck and beat his head into the frame till they popped out. 2 problems solved at once.

Car was at his shop. I was at work. His buddy helped him finish installing my new clutch & replace leaking slave cylinder.

He calls me and says the car is done. I'm at work til 8. He says he can just drive it to my mom's (he lives next door- mom and sister have horses) so I don't need to drive as far to come get it. He's driven the car before, so I don't think anything of it.

A half hour later I get another phone call from him.

Well I took the windows in the day after Memorial Day. They said 2 days to paint and 2 days to install. After about a month I when back in only to see my windows still on a table were I had placed them. They said they were waiting on more things that needed UA Black paint. I asked them if they had any 07 black fords on their used car lot, if so I'll go key them so you will have more things to paint. They didn't think that was to funny so I left. Another 2 weeks and I stopped by and they said they were painted but couldn't install them until last monday. So I bring in the mustang at 8am and told to pick it up at 4pm. Around 2 I get a call that they had painted the inside of the windows not the outside.
So they had to keep the car as the windows had been removed already. Called today that the car was done. Picked it up and they only charged me $250 for the paint and installtion.
