no i havn't, i been workin way to much but today starts a 2 week vacation for me..

I didnt even buy any fireworks. Im getting lame!

 

Me neither. I used to buy fireworks and go to my parents in the country and set them off. Now it just seems like a hassle and a little too dangerous for all my little ones.

 

I spend my fireworks cash on beer. Mmmmmmmm beer

 

I hate 2 things today.

1. my car is f'ing with my mind. i take it into the dealer today for the squeaking pulley, and it BEHAVES PERFECTLY. so i have some other maintenance done instead. stupid bastardstang.

2. i hate electrical. i hooked up an amp and sub last week. the amp wouldn't come on. i figured the amp is old, so it's just not working anymore. so i buy a new amp. the new one won't come on either! WTF. i hate electrical. so i'm obviously doing something wrong. i think the grounds suck, but i cant find a good bolt to ground to in the trunk area. i tried using the bolts that attach the rear seatback hinges to the frame. i tried 2 different bolts, but the amp still wont come on. i dont know how to check if my ground is good or not.

Connect the amp directly to your battery to see if it will even work. Whats the directions say?

Just won a set of autolite HT0 spark plugs on ebay for 44 bucks. Brand new still in the boxes. I used to shop on feabay a lot until it was taken over by cheap stores selling crap.

Daughter is having a CT scan this morning, hoping for the best that she is cancer free. I had a Nuclear Stress Test done on my heart Tuesday. I think my Dr just need a payment on his boat as I'm pretty sure all is ok.

Darrell is right about the ground issue. Just run a long wire from your sub to the negative pole of the battery. Best ground possible. If it still doesn't work then it's something else.

Hey Darrel, best of luck to her. I hope all is well.

My uncle died on Wednesday but FedEx won't give bereavement time for non-immediate family members so I cant go to the funeral. So just my mom is going.

Darrel and Scott - I ended up just drilling a hole in a protroding panel in the trunk, sanded it down to metal, and attaching the ground to that. all is well now.
