Larry, good to hear from you! Hope everything turns out well with your new job!
To the new guys checking out the thread: welcome! Stay awhile! Oh, and..... 'bout time lol!! We use this forum to keep in touch and general comeraderie.
And for the rest of you worried about living too close to me, just be happy that it's convenient for your old ladies...... Hahahahhaa!

Absolutely Norm...Welcome. And welcome to you Shaun. I just want to warn the both of you that I am the only normal one in the Midwest forum.
The rest are a bunch of goofballs. And then there is a guy from Texas that shows up around here at times. You really got to watch him

Yeah, I heard the ice was bad the further North you went. Fortunately, we mostly got just rain and now it's sunny out today. Of course, it's still only 20 some degrees out. Hopefully, this weather breaks soon and starts to look like spring again. My car is anxiously awaiting some nice weather.

Yeap sold the 98 Explorer Wednesday night.
The new one is built and is scheduled to be here Tuesday next week. The 70 is still here. Mershon's was supposed to be here yesterday. They never showed up or called.
I know the guy had a death in the family a few weeks ago so I will give him the benefit of doubt. He seemed like he really wanted to see it last week even knowing what I was asking for it. Beats me.
And I hate this website. I can't edit anything anymore... my signature or anything.........WTF???

Read an article about Ford not taken orders for cars and trucks with Black and Red paint. Shortage from Japan of material to make those paints. Also was told to buy a new car now if you are thinkin og buyin with in the next year due to shortages. Dealers will start to mark everything up shortly.

Is there some kind of transportation issue with the carriers for Ford? The dealer has been telling us for 2 weeks that her Explorer is built and sitting in Chicago waiting to be shipped. He says there is some kind of issue up there.

Well, my car is gone as of last Saturday. I've been busy all week, so now I finally took photos of all my parts and listed a for sale thread. https://themustangsource.com/f722/ma...-parts-493387/ It feels weird having only one car in the garage, but I did it to help myself make it out of this economic slump.
call them and ask If I can pick it up and bring it to you?
