OK back to normalcy

Glad to see Brenspeed doing so well. I e-mail John to get my Dyno tune and they are booked for all of March and into April. So I either have to reinstall the 3.6 pulley or ask for a e-mail 3.4 pulley tune till I can get to Brenspeed to fine tune it, if I want to use the Mustang.

Scottie you would look bad@ss in a Wally World vest.

Uh...thanks Darrell. I think.

So I come home today and my Steeda springs from Sam Strano are here. Now I have the Koni shocks and Steeda springs but I don't have the new GT500 strut mounts from CJ pony yet. They are on backorder. So I called and I am told mid April!! WTF??? No way Ford is building that many GT500's. Is there that many guys replacing their strut mounts that Ford can't keep up? Oh well I guess I'll get the rear end done and just wait.

Cant you just get the updated GT ones? they worked for me, no more noise.
I was lucky enough to have a hook up in Ford parts who got me the parts outright, and all I had to do was give him my old ones with my VIN and mileage when I did the swap (pro kit and Tokicos) I think they got the credit for the warranty(tsb) labor, I noticed it in vehicle history, lol.

I've got my rear upper control arm installed, what a pain in the neck that job was. The bolts for the bracket were in there pretty good. I'm going to re-check everything tomorrow morning just to be sure, but I think I've got it all tight. The J+M adjustable arm looks pretty strong, I'm glad I went with it to match the lower arms I already have.

I probably could. I'm sure at a higher cost than the GT500 one's from CJ Pony. At $56 bucks shipped is hard to beat. I will just get the rear end done first and see what I will do.

Hell I got a set of the B version that I give away. They were just as bad as the orginal. The GT500 version fixed everything on mine.

I'm going to wait to get the GT500 mounts. I'm not ready to drive the car just yet anyway. If CJ Pony comes thru in a couple of weeks I'll be okay.
Hey Glenn...got that shifter installed yet? Yours looks like poo.

Hope to get my camera back tomorrow and get some pics of my winters work,

Nick

Tom gave me his old LCA and I installed them would you like my old ones. I brought them from Stang Suspension which is out of busniess now. I'll sand blast them and paint them a nice black if you want them. the are adjustable and look like the #4 picture.

I can't even get my email returned......... frankly since I sold my 06 they haven't exactly gone out of their way, I don't think they like to support the pre 05 cars.
