Hey Dudes and Dudetts,

Been raining here all day. Very gloomy. But that's Ohio weather in the winter months. Did you guys see were the Ford Fusion won the Motor Trend car of the year for 2010? Kudo's to Ford!

Has BMW ever won car of the year?

BMW has won the Motor Trend car of the year before back in the late 90s. More importantly, the 2006 three-series BMW won the World Car of the Year in 2006. That is much more of an independant test compared to Motor Trend. Congrats to Ford for the Fusion though.

Karen's boss has some $85K BMW 875 series or something like that and it truely is the nicest car I have ever rode in. And I am pretty sure it even had butt wipers.

Oh I didn't mean to thump any chest, I was just saying mainly that I don't put a lot of faith into what Motor Trend says. I'm glad to see Ford when an award but MT can be easily bought, hahaha. I didn't know if you were honestly asking about BMW winning an award or not.
