Well guys, I never called about the F150. We decided to keep our Aspen.... it just has too much stuff that and features that we all like. Plus after thinking about it for a few days I'm not convinced I would want a 2 wheel drive truck.

So anyway, I bought a bunch of oil and filters to get the Aspen, Mach, and 5.0 ready for winter. Started on the Aspen and somehow totally stripped the drain bolt BAD. Had to go buy a bolt-out kit, and I gotta say it worked like a charm! Now just gotta pickup the new drain bolt tomorrow a.m. and finish it up. While the oil was draining from the Aspen, I jacked up the rear of the Mach and put a new fuel filter in, plan to put a new one in the 5.0 too.

The Harley trucks are sweet rides when cruising on dry roads. In the snow they are useless and even on wet roads can be a handful. I also picked up oil and filter for my Mach 1 last night. I sure hope I don't have your luck with the drain plug.

I'm in the market for a CAI before I cash in my free dyno tuning I won from brenspeed.

QUESTION:

Is it rude to buy a CAI somewhere else for a better price and have it installed at brenspeed when they do my tuning? I kinda feel obligated to buy one from them since they are "hooking me up" in the first place.

Hey Cody, just tell Brent and crew which CAI you're looking at and ask if they will match the price. They may or may not, but you never know unless you ask. And you won't offend them by asking, no worries there. If you choose to buy a different CAI from somewhere else, you could always blame the wife...... that's what I do. "Sorry guys, my wife bought me this CAI from XX so I have to use it or else she'll get mad."

Forgot to mention, I got the new oil drain plug from Advanced Auto. It is not stock, and is the kind that you can drain the oil without removing the actual plug. I'm not sure I like that idea because you can drain the oil without any tools at all. But I went ahead and installed it, we'll see what happens.

Also got the Mach 1 and the 5.0 done. On the 5.0 I changed the oil & filter and also put in new trans fluid. My trans was starting to act up a little bit every once and awhile but man, with the new juice in there the car drives like new! Seriously, I had to threaten it a few times. I was like "Gina, if you keep running so well I'm never gonna spend any money on you!". For those that don't know, my 5.0 was named Gina when we bought it back in '92. I still gotta do the fuel filter on her yet, but that may wait till later.

Sunny, cold, and windy here. I need to change my oil soon too. Should I be scared?

Well, knowing your luck with bolts that take 3 months to remove.......... um......... yes you should be worried.

Took me twenty minutes last time I did it. I'm just worried about experiencing the curse that seems to have you right now.

Ah yea my wife just brought me a 3.4 pulley from Thumperrr Racing for 60 bucks for Christmas instead of their (Brenspeeds) 99 dollar one. ooops and I already had a belt that would fit too.

Hey Mr. Whiney Butt,
I bought 30 yards of mulch this month worth 1/2 of your furniture bill. Talk about a worthless purchase. If you need a little help I can break out the Golden Buckeye Card if you need a loan!!
