I had two, but not anymore. We really don't get enough snow to enjoy them. If I drove a couple hours north, they would be a blast. But really (IMO) you need a good foot of snow at least, and usually around here anyway we get a few inches at a time.

The best thing around here with just a few inches of snow is a front wheel drive car..... go to the Walmart on an early morning, throw it in reverse and do a crap load of backwards donuts. Even the wife and kids love those.

Pretty much everyone around here has one....except us of course. Technically we have one in our barn, but it's some old one my friend's dad bought several years ago that was a piece of crap.

That's alright. I lived on the gulf for 7 years as a teenager and we never had a jet ski. All we had was some slow *** sailboat.

It seems like pretty much everyone around here has a boat, atv, and a snowmobile. Maybe someday.

You know this thread gets more posts per day than the entire GT modification thread does since the crash. I think most guys bailed to other websites.

Nope no block heater. I guess those are only standard on the German-only cars.

I do believe that all Canadian vehicles came with block heaters but now I see they want to charge for them ? doesn't seem right if it's a cold climate and the service screws the pooch and the water freezes block cracks , would it not have been cheaper for them to stick it in on the build !!

Ed,
Are you close to the coast? I thought some areas in BC had pretty mild winters.

I'm getting bored of waiting for Darrel to post some Raptor pix , so I'm going to post some more shameless pix of my own. In daylight this time. And now also with a GT500 spoiler.

I'm sure you all had heard about the Polish Immigrant stuck waitiing in an airport here in Vancouver BC that got TAZERED for no good reason & died as a result ? well I hope they really toss the book at all for neglegance of duty etc.

VANCOUVER — Just a week before the two-year anniversary of her son's death at Vancouver International Airport, Zofia Cisowski has filed a lawsuit for damages against the RCMP, the Canada Border Services Agency and the Vancouver Airport Authority.
The lawsuit seeks damages for psychological injury, the loss of her son, Robert Dziekanski, and her inability to work since the incident. The suit, filed in B.C. Supreme Court in Vancouver on Wednesday, also seeks punitive damages.
Dziekanski, 40, died on Oct. 14, 2007, after being Tasered five times by four RCMP officers responding to a 911 call at the airport.
Dziekanski, who was immigrating to Canada to live with his mother, had become frustrated after a 20-hour flight from Poland, then spending about 11 hours in the international arrivals area of the airport. He was unable to contact his mother, who was waiting for him in another area.
The lawsuit, filed a week before the statute of limitations would go into effect, says the conduct of the RCMP and four officers breached the Charter of Rights and was "an abuse of power, reprehensible, malicious, oppressive and high-handed."
The suit claims negligence, assault and battery, malfeasance and charter violations by the RCMP.
The lawsuit also claims the Vancouver Airport Authority failed to provide a safe environment for her son with signage to the customs area, translators, or functioning security cameras, and that airport employees failed to pass messages from her to her son.
It says the border services agency breached its duty to provide Dziekanski with help. The lawsuit also lists the four officers involved in the Taser incident: Kwesi Millington, Gerry Rundel, Bill Bentley and Benjamin Robinson

Funny you should mention that Ed. I found something that works just great for that this past weekend when washing the Stang. Totally by accident. Try a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser that is wet and has a little liquid car soap on it. It melted that black nasty crap away in seconds. I have been using fine scotchbrite pads and lots of elbow grease but the Magic Eraser is the nuts!! And OH yeah Nick!!!!! Looking good! I hope to finally meet you in a couple of weeks @ Brenspeeds open house!

Really. I've seen my wife using those all over the house recently.

Maybe I should make her do my car tailpipes too.
