Man this sucks trying to Nav this site with my Palm pda . update on my broke pony, damage estimate 4600 bucks..... after much pud pounding I decided to stick with the OEM hood, will add the CS front facsia and go back to the OEM grill .........car go's in the 23 of Dec and should have it back the first of next year. Hey 70MACH1OWNER you pushin those bootleg Viagra again!.....lol

 

Good news on the pony STD. No Viagra yet but it's probably not far away.

And what WTF happened with gas prices today? When I went to work this morning 87 was $1.25.9 over here...when I came home 9 hours later it was $1.79.9. All I can say is what the hell happened in the world today??

 

I dunno, it's dropped 6 cents since last week, down to 1.45

Hey 70MACH1OWMER that's a CS front fascia you have ? because that's what I'm having put on the Stang and yes 2010 is not that far away! ... but honestly I drove a 04 Terminator a few months again and let me tell you it one bad little unit!

 

No it a stock GT fascia. The CS wasn't born when they built my car. And yes...the TERMIE'S are one hell of a car but they handle in the corners like poop!

My FREAKING BADand I mean BAD day!

So i am driving down the road this morning, minding my own business (I think everyone knows where this is going...but be paitent). The road is a two laner going through a patch of woods. When there is this flash in the corner of my eye on the drivers side and then this THUD. Well the mind processes fast under stress. I think..what the hell was that? Did someone throw a rock at me? Did I run over something in the road? I look in the rear view mirror and this F@&KING big *** buck is spinning off the road behind me. Now I didnt really feel anything, just heard the thud sound, so I am thinking maybe the **** deer just glanced off me and no major damage to my baby girl. I get pulled over 200 yards later and open the door..OK thats good the door opened, maybe I got lucky. I get out look at the side and......F@&K ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The drivers side door is crushed where the dumb *** deer hit and then several more big dents in the left rear quarter panel! OK everyone I know this is stupid but I almost started crying. One month old and this happens. OK well like I said be patient. So I go from upset to freaking mad as hell so I slam the door shut, so hard that it throws me off balance and I fall and bust my ***. Great. I get up and like everyone that has been in a wreck of some sort, I am thinking who do I call 1st, insurance? Wife? Police? (BTW I am a cop). Anyway I make the calls as I am walking to see the deer back 200 yards. OK deer hunters (which I am not) this is for you. He was an 8 pointer and probably weighed about 200lbs. A guy stops because he see's my car but doesnt see the deer at first, but is a hunter and he looked at it, rubbed his hand on the bucks hind legs and said that they were in rut which was probably why the buck was out on the busy road at 10 am (chasing Pu%%y will get you everytime ).

OK so while we are waiting on the Sheriffs office to arrive for my report, several more guys stop, again because of the car not the deer, and all very very sympathic about my poor baby girl getting bashed in. Well after calming down I am thinking it could have been worse, I could of hit it from the front, deployed the airbags, stunning me for a second, lose control and be wrapped around a tree. So I count my blessings and besides thats what the insurance is for. We drag the buck back to my car and I get them to take "trophy" shots of me and my buck along with the damage (will post them later). I mean what can you do at this point the damage is done so might as well laugh about it, and now I have a great story to tell the grandkids one day. But wait boys and girls the story isnt over yet, like I said be patient.

So I call the dealer after the Deputy is done getting my info, tell him what happened and he says bring it over to the dealership, its driveable and no glass breakage at all. So i am driving to them and this **** dump truck going the opposite direction passes me and throws about 30 rocks all over my hood and windshield! Absolutely wonderful. 2 dings in the hood 1 on the windshield. I didnt get to see what company it was so I keep driving.

1 mile later a small police department car (I work for the largest police department in the state) gets behind me and lights me up! Good Lord! I pull over and he comes walking up. I crack the window a little because I dont want to roll it down much fearing it may not come back up with all the door damage. He peers in as I am shaking my head (usually I am very nice when I ge pulled over by other agencies because I know what they go through, but as we can all tell I am NOT in a good mood). He hasnt said a word to me yet when I say...Look dude I am not in a good mood, I am a police officer and a **** deer just crushed my car as you can see, so I am sorry for the attitude but I am a little pissed off right now. He was also very sympathic and after 10 minutes of talking about how great my car looked banged up and all, plus what Jerks dumb trucks drivers who dont cover their loads are, he sends me on my way.

So I arrive at the dealership, The GM comes out and is very helpful and we get the body shop guys they use right over to look at it and check to see if they can get a new door and quarter panel for me. I was concerned about that thinking that because the plant has closed for two weeks I would be out of luck for at least a month. But they find them and will be here in a week (yea right). So he invites me for coffee which I dont drink so he buys me a coke instead. I unscrew the top and the thing foams out all over me. ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME! Come on, no ones day can be this bad can it?

So I ask this. Am I the first person in the country to wreck thier Challenger? Technically I didnt wreck it because the dumb *** deer hit me. Well at least his genes are out of the gene pool now. I gave the deer to the guys who pulled up 1st because I am not really into venison anyway. Before I told them they could have it, they tell me I should get it mounted. Now hold on there bubba. Like I said I am not a deer hunter, but I do know this much...you dont mount a deer that is road kill (even if you are the one who killed it) and pass it off as a good shoot and mount it. Deer hunters let me know what you think, but I have a feeling that buck is going to be on his wall in a few weeks.
