Crappy afternoon - on the way home from a job site, I hit a pothole blew the sidewall out on my right front tire. (I was driving my old Bonneville). Put the donut on the rear so I would have two good tires on the front. Got home and noticed that the wheel was sitting about an inch back. I whacked it hard enough to bend or move something.
Took a good look and the ball joint I replaced last year had moved. I pushed it back and tightened it down. That took some of the deviation out, but not all. I suppose I will put it in storage and drive my other Bonneville over the winter. Good thing I was not driving the Mustang...

Wow Chris...Those potholes can really do some damage.
And winter has even hit yet. Hope it's not a big deal for you!!!!
Scott
Well, at 208K miles, she has served us well... Maybe time to let her go. We are car heavy anyway with 5 vehicles. One less would not be so bad.
The control arm does not 'look' bent, but until I can get it up on a rack... Funny thing is that I can not see any obvious impact sites that would clue me in. Oh well.
Butthead here
, Mustang is put away for the winter. got the GT500 Front stuct tops in a box along with a new center arm rest that I was going to get a new cover for but.... I also order some billet caps (Scott Drake) for the engine compartment and for some odd reason I order a power steering cap instead of a Brake Fluid cap
. My oldest Daughter just got laid off from her job and we have been told to just work 40 hours a week. The actual mill is only producting 4 to 5 days a week. The Automotive Industry has almost stopped making cars and trucks. The only good news we have heard is that Ford has called back appx. 1000 workers to their F-150 plant to start making the new F-150 but who is going to buy them????

Or maybe the engine cradle shifted. All of the lower suspension mounts to the cradle. I was surprised that the car tracks fine on the road - does not pull or vibrate. Probably won't fool with it until spring.
F150's? Wow - Like you said, who will buy them?

Well hell I love Shania. Just didn't look like her in the picture. Who in their right mind would fool around on her.
