Yes I went to Muncie and it was horrible...... place was packed! Got there around noon, left around 4, and got one pass in. Long story short, not enough water in the water box for me to turn over the 325s, engine bogged down in 2nd and died. Restarted it, dumped the clutch again but this time forgot to manually turn off the TCS. I have the relay installed that turns it off automatically, but when you stall and recrank it remains on. With the traction control accidentally on and a 2nd attempt at the burnout, I heard a loud "BANG" from the rear end, think it's the passenger side. I ran it down the track anyway, so I ended up pooching it out of the hole, and ran a 13.0 at 119 mph with like a 2.3' foot time. Car drives fine, however I launched it hard in 2nd on the hiway (I never use 1st) and I still got the noise. I think I may have damaged one of the LCAs, I hope to check it out tomorrow. Otherwise, it could just be the noise inherit in the drivetrain now, because the Spec clutch and input shaft are SOLID- there is NO slip.

Wow...I was hoping you ran like a 11.60 today. Hope you didn't hurt anything that can't be easily fixed.

Oh "Da Shield" "Da Shield" I'm just starting to scare you. That's taken way to long.
Going to take the 70 to a car show this afternoon from 1-4 pm. A friend of mine donated a 2003 Termie to be raffled off at 3 pm. I bought 6 chances at it. I would love to have that Termie.

Seems to drive just fine.....
I don't wear Crocs, however I believe they were invented in Texas.
Good luck at the show, and good luck winning the Terminator!

good luck at your show and winning the Terminator and the show. The car show season is over here, there is one today but I got to go to the in-laws for a Birthday party. Since I got the car I when to 15 shows and placed at 12 of them. Also they have cancel the Cal. of Wheels at Notre Dame next year so that sucks. I think they are rebuilding the ACC (the building that holds it).
Howdy to everybody else

I was at Byron Dragway this morning, it was packed big time. Over 300 entries, possibly close to 400. I ran 3 times and left at 1pm, cars still coming in. My first run stunk, bogged the launch and spun the tires in second gear. Second run was my best of the day, good launch and tires stuck nicely for a 13.54 @ 101.47! Third run I broke loose in second again, still ran 13.85. Overall, not too bad considering how busy the place was.

I hate it when the track is that busy. I try to stick to 41, its usually pretty easy to get alot of runs in.
Cruised up with a few friends to Volo Auto Museum today. 1st time I was ever there, pretty neat place to check out. I need to bring my son there. Was a car show there today too, It was a toys for tots poker run, and ended at Volo. So 300 + cars plus the museum was a pretty cool day.

Well it was a beautiful day for a cruise in. Lots of nice cars. Here is the Terminator I didn't win. Get this a local attorney's 19 yr old son won it.
