Scott remember to order a safety loop w/ that Alum. Spydershaft
Gottcha Darrell.
I have pretty much made up my mind that the next mod will be the Sydershaft. Just need that little bonus check.
I will learn everything I can from helping Larry with his OBX header install. I am looking forward to getter-r-done Larry. Got a date in mine yet?

No ...that weekend is good for me. Either day. Or even the weekend of the 10th and 11th would work for me also. But after that weekend of the 15/16th my weekends are booked with family/Xmas stuff.

OK, here are the comparison vids- both taken from the same distance, same volume, etc. All things as equal as I can make them.
Borla:

SLP:

At idle, the SLP isn't as loud as I thought it would be. It does have noticeable drone at 55-60mph but below that and over that the drone fades. The car in general rips at WOT- I kinda like it!

How did all of you Midwesterners day go today? Well I hope. I had a little bit of excitement today. Karen (my wife) had to call 911 today after I left for work because she took a couple of asprin around 7:30 and sucked one down her windpipe
where it got stuck! She managed to call me at work which is 23 minutes from home to tell me she had called the squad and could hardly breath. I could hardly understand her. Luckily the fire house is only a couple of minutes up the road and they were here quick and got it dis-lodged.
I was headed home like a bat-out-of he!! and was maybe half way home when she called to tell me they got it free.
I have never felt so helpless in my life. She is fine. Also, I need to get under the stang this weekend as in my haste to leave work quickly I ran over a low curb getting on the road and scraped something like the rear suspension or muffler on the passerger side. I have had a headache all day and I am now trying to see if I can make it worse.
I'm ready for this day to be over.

Dang pops, glad she's alright. It is scary as heck when a loved one is sick or in harm's way and you can't do nothing about it. Glad it worked out, give her my best.

Okay Youngster.
Here is my opinion of your newest exhaust mod. I believe that those resonators of yours make a really big difference in the sound of these exhausts. I would say they really calmed the raw nature of the Loudmouths. It is not nearly as raw sounding as I would have expected. However, at idle and at slight revving is sounds like you lost about 100 horsepower. I think you hit on a darn good combo with those Borla's and resonators. While I am sure the Loudmouths will be louder at WOT I think you hit a homerun with the Borla's and resonator combo. I would put the Borla's back on and put the Loudmouths up for sale. I am curious about everyone else's opinion in the Midwest forum. But there's mine.Scott
