I just voted for you too. I agee with the one reply about brought cars vs. modded cars. I hate going to shows and you are up against cars that the owner knows nothing about their modds other than the cost to have them installed or already on the car when brought. And I'm not talking about internal engine mods or read end changes, as I wouldn't tackle those never. Talking about Body Mods, inside mods, bolts ons, etc.etc.

I will be there - so far the weather looks nice and dry for next weekend. A little cool, but dry.

Suggestion - we should probably meet at a restaurant just outside the park, eat and then hit the park. Unless there will be a wide range of when everyone will be arriving...

Going to be a no-show for me this year.
We just got mandated 10Hr days/6 day week for the next 2-3 weeks.
Have a bit of a crunch @ work. Gearing up for a 2nd shift & openings for 6 more new-hires, but until that happens us current folks have to bear the brunt.
Me & the manager are the only salary employees, so no extra cash either.
Sorry guys, I had planned on being there.

Wow - sorry to hear that, but I know what you mean. We had to lighten the load a little last month and I have been taking up some of the slack. Things have slowed down.

This year it is looking like it is down to me, Scott and Tom...

Uh oh..... maybe we should move it to the spring guys? To be honest I'm not terribly excited about coming with my children but no wife to help out. I hate to say it, but I vote that we move it to the spring and try to get more people involved.

Scott, Chris- your thoughts?

Well Chris and I spoke about it this morning. I also agree that at this point it doesn't seem like it's going to happen next weekend. I threw out one last idea at Chris this morning and he seem interested in it. What about a meeting at Brenspeeds dyno day on Nov. 1st. Maybe Larry and Darrell can make that. Chris sounded like he would be interested possibly. And I can come up. The nice thing is we know alot of other stangs will be there and other makes putting down some big numbers. Maybe even Nick, Cody, Ben and Justin can make that date. I know it's closer for those guys. Throw out your thoughts guys.
Scott

Dyno day works for me....... always a good idea to run the car on the dyno just to see if the numbers are on and the air/fuel looks good.

Agreed - Dyno days seems to make more sense. But I also think that we should do something in the spring and start planning now...

If I am not in the woods, I will try to make the Dyno Day. Spring sounds a little more promising for me also, just need to make sure and plan around the 45 anniversary in AL.

Next SAAC Shelby Spring Fling is May 15th - 17th 2009 in Brown County State Park.

My calendar is marked for Saturday the 16th...

Great place to meet and see a ton of cars.

Some pics from the meet in 06 and 07.
