Fall 2008 StangStock! You, get in here!!

Anyone interested in having a Fall 2008 StangStock gathering? It's been nearly a year since some of us met at Brown County state park. While there has been other attempts to get back together again already, many of us were not able to attend events in the summer months due to work, family, etc.

SO....... QUESTION IS........

WHO IS INTERESTED IN HAVING ANOTHER STANGSTOCK THIS FALL????

Same time, same place as last year?

I know I am interested. I kind of gave up on earlier threads due to what I deemed lack of interest. Karen and I would love to go to Brown county again. I would suggest a little earlier than last year. Maybe late Sept. or very early Oct. Anyone know anyone any good at baking apple pies? Come on guys...........
Scott

I would be possibly interested.. But I need a firm date so I can make sure I can get off work.

AND AN ALARM CLOCK SO I DON'T OVER-SLEEP.

Yeah Scott, I think that he did..... I'll let it slide this time LOL.

Looks like we may need to get PMs out to several members who haven't responded yet.

Oct. or later would work for me. Wife has herina surgery early Sept. At work we have 2 guys going out also early Sept for knee and wrist surgery. So I'll be working 7 days a week 12 hour shift for about the whole month. Pick a date and I'll see what I can do. Also Oct 11th I'm already buzy.

BC works for me.

Pick a date and there I'll be.

September weekends: (starting mid-month)

20, 21
27,28

October:

4,5
11,12
18,19
25,26

Perhaps an alternate rain date would be good too? Should probably contact Brenspeed to see if there is any interest in attending again?

There are tons of them in Nasville if you want to stay there. Just do a search. Tom and I stayed at this Holiday Inn which is at I-65 and Ind 46. It is about 15-20 minutes east of Nashville but was on both our ways home. I would probably stay here again.

Checked the reservations, says there is nothing open at that hotel pretty much the whole month of October.

I'll pitch in and say that the 4th & 5th sound good to me too......... Can we locate a spot in the park (like last year) for reservations?

Something else to throw out there - do we want to increase attendance, or do we just want to keep it limited to our small group? Reason I ask is that there are two Mustang clubs in Indy, and if we let them know our plans, maybe some of them would like to attend... Just a thought.
