I am looking into something on the North side of Indy - that may save some drive time for some.

Justin my guess of 9 hrs was round trip for you. Brown county is 1 1/2 hrs south of Indy. How long for you to get to Indy? I figured you were 4 to 4 1/2 hrs each way.

Here is an option - I checked with Ft. Harrison State Park (Northeast side of Indy) and here is what I found out -

Currently these dates are open (all Saturdays)-

Oct. 11th
Oct. 18th
Oct. 25th

They have a small shelter (approx. 50 people) available - rent is $40.

This will save some drive time and this park looks like Brown County.

This is also fine with me. I really want us all just to get together before the snow flys. So if we moved to the 18th can you and Darrell make it on that day? Tom sounded flexible. How about you Larry?

18th is better for me. I go through the same thing with paintball - no matter when you schedule a game, only about half of the people can make it, which stinks, because the more targets - uh, I mean people, the better with paintball...

18th would most likely be fine as well for me.
I really don't plan much over a week in advance for anything anyway

Glad you chimed in Larry. I can cancel the Brown county shelter with no issue. So let's all chime in about moving the date to the 18th and to Ft Harrison State Park. I'm in!!!!!

Hey guys - (Scott) I am going to be away from the computer for a few days on a big machine install in southern Indiana. Not sure who can run with the ball, but here is the link to the Harrison Park site.

http://www.in.gov/dnr/parklake/6715.htm

There is a nice pdf map and the phone number is at the top of the page. I talked to a woman today about the Delaware and Cherry shelters. There is a nice golf course and also some really nice bike trails if anyone wants to bring a bicycle...

Well I guess we just need to see how many can make Stangstock 08 if we move the date to Oct. 18th and the new place of Fort Harrison State Park. I'll start a new list.

Scott and Karen Morris

October 18th I'm not sure about, won't know until right up near then. That's supposed to be a drag racing day for the local club I'm a member of. If the weather isn't good I won't be bringing the car out at all at that point.

Well....depending on the day...it may just be me (and in all honesty the better chance I come.) If it is a Notre Dame football home game it would just be me becuase my wife would have to work. She is a Nanny for folks that go to all of the games.
