The more the better is my opinion. I know Ben has contacts with at least one club. How about you? Karen and I just checked on line with Brown County State Park about reserving a shelter. Tells us everything is taking thru Oct 25th. Bummer. We tried to call the state park but they are closed. We will try tomorrow and check for sure. Any other ideas?

Yes - I know a few. If that is the way we all want to go, then the sooner we can set a date and put the word out, the better.

Okay guys. We called Brown County State park today to see if everything really was booked like the web site said. Well, it was on Oct 4th but they had 2 shelters open on Oct 11th and 1 on Oct 25th and that was it. So I took it upon myself to reserve the Tulip Tree shelter (same as last year) for Saturday Oct 11th. So now we have a place to meet and I hope to get people to sign up. I hope we can have a good turn out like last year. I will start the list with me and the wifey. We will stay overnight probably at the Holiday Inn at I-65 and Ind. 46 that night and come home on Sunday morning. You other out of towners are welcome also.

1. Scott and Karen Morris
2. Tom, Kim and the kids
3. Larry, wife and son Jake.

I will check with my wife but I would say that we'll be there, likely with our children this year too. So for now, count us in.

Hmm, I could possibly make it, will have to see how busy things are at work and if overtime will be needed around then. I will plan on coming though.

Ah yes I remember Darrell. Sorry but there were not any shelters available except on the 11 th and the 25th which is getting pretty late in the month.

Not being a smart butt (for once) but do we need a shelter? Assuming the weather is ok, we need a place to gather of course - which there are many.

We need a place to sit. I was going to bring my own folding chairs.

Food preparation - how about those small portable tailgate party grills?

I agree about not too late in the month, but I missed my Shelby Spring Fling this year. My fault - getting the new hood. Then I missed the Dublin Ohio show. Then I missed the local Mustang show. I know it is not the end of the world, but I would hate to miss this one too. Do I sound desperate?

Well I guess not. But if we want to have a place to sit and eat lunch, a grill to cook on like we did last year. I am open to other ideas. It also gives us a area to park our cars off the road in the park. What you got in mind?

Oh shoot - I tried to anticipate your questions but took too darn long. Duh. Well, there is Sunday the 12th. Really, I just need to look into the park a little more and see what the options are. Maybe the 11th is the best and I just need to let it go. Now let's see, do I go into the light, or run from it...?

Well the problem with the 12th (Sunday) is for us out -of -towners. Speaking for myself I would have between 7-8 hrs. drive time for a day trip. I know Tom has the same and poor Justin maybe has 9 hrs or so. Hence why we are spending the night. I really want us all to have a get together. And I know it's tough with everyone's schedules finding that perfect day. But again I am open to other weekend and ideas.

I'm open too, so let me know what you come up with...... a shelter though probably is the best option so that people don't have to try to pack a grill or grill(s) big enough to feed everyone, chairs, tables, etc. For example assuming we come down with our two children, and stay the night somewhere, my car will be packed pretty full. I may have to reinstall my factory rear springs so that I don't bottom out LOL.

Is Brown County really a 9 hour drive for me? I'd be driving all day then. I don't get out of work early anymore so I won't be able to leave here on Friday afternoon to get a head start on driving. I'll have to think about that some more.
