Yes, I'm a freak
Yah, the guy at McDonald's and I talk about the cars every once in a while when I'm in the drive thru. I'm there pretty much everyday. It's just too darn convenient. Plus, my dog has to go for a ride every morning or he drives me nuts.

Yah, trust me I don't need the poking. I really want the SC bad. I'm hoping sometime this summer. I've got a lot of big expenses coming up with repairs to my new house, and getting my wife's new practice up and running. I'm hoping that all goes well and I end up with some cash left over quickly to get the SC soon.

Thanks! I think they used mine because all 3 of their shop cars are all "sleepers"..... they have very very little appearance mods on them.

Hi Guys...just made it home at 4:30. It was great meeting everyone face to face. The pics look great Tom and thanks for breakfast. I'm looking forward to doing this again at the fall dyno day. Glad you got home safely Cody. Time to go and get a new battery it seems. Hey Jaime... it was good to meet you and I hope all goes well with the house deal so you can get that supercharger soon. I think I am going to try Brent's 93 tune here later this summer. I was all set on my next mod being longtubes but since I am already catless Brent said I'd be doing good to get 10-15 rwhp gain from them. $1,500 bucks for 10 hp is nuts. I think I will try a set of delete plates and Brent's tune for about $225 and get that same 10 ponies. There really is no end to this modding thing once you get started is there. See you all later.

Well, finally 2 hours later I got the darn Panhard bar installed..... You wouldn't think 2 bolts and 1 bar would be so hard. Thanks to that double-ended design and the passengerside mount, I had to keep R&R'ing it to make the adjustment. But, it's done now and hopefully I got it tight enough to not have any problems. Oh and hopefully, for the price of $160 it will do more than just re-center my rearend.

Tom: you are going to have to update that avatar! the wheels and springs are sweet!....not to mention the grille!

One Question: Why did everyone take off thier shakers when they did thier pulls? I was confused....would it restrict air flow because you were standing still? That was the only explanation I could think of.

Gilmer Park ????? My in-laws live there. I was trying to decide between the Dyno day and the Show and Shine at Z-Ford in Elkhart for my club. When to the show and shine should have went to the Dyno day. oh well live and learn

It was nice to meet you in person too Scott. I agree, I would definitely hold off on the LTs since you've already got off-road exhaust. I'm not sure I'd go with delete plates though. From what I hear, you may lose a little down low, and since you don't plan on running it on the track, I'd think down-low is where all the fun is at.

Definitely give Brent's tune a try. You saw from my run that his numbers are dead-on.

If you were ready to drop the cash on the LTs, you might want to take a look at the Livernois ported heads. I think you'd get more HP all over than with the delete plates, with close to the same dollars as the LTs. Although, you might want to bring it up and have Brent custom tune it then, just to get the most out of them. Just a thought.

Hey Jaime,
Actually since I posted yesterday about getting the delete plates and Brents tune I have thought what I should do is only get his tune and change nothing else on the car and go back to the fall dyno day and see how his tune stacks up against Lidio's tune that I am now running. Mainly because if I go to the delete plate's than I would also have to get Lidio's tune updated also if I want to go back. This summer is full of a lot of high dollar projects around my house also... so the stang mods need to be kept to a minimum for a while. Hope maybe we can meet up again. P.S. What I like about your #'s is your torque of 293. Mine was only 278. I'd rather have your torque # to go with my hp #'s.

I think my solelnoid is on its way out...so I'll start there since its only a few bucks. There is definatly a voltage problem though....cause I tried to jump it with that pack...and as soon as I hooked it up to the battery...the pack went dead. So whatever it is drained all of the power out of that pack, and it took a jump to get it enough power to start it.

My neighbor a few houses down has a SUPER nice red GT350 clone....and he has a few buddies with: a black GT350 clone with silver stripes....someone has a MINT maroon 65 GT coupe...and someone else has a '67 fastback. I've also seen a black cobra kit there a few times....sad thing is....I've been his neighbor for about a year now, and I still have not met him yet. I need to get over there and introduce myself! I've just never had good timing. Everytime I've seen him with it out...I've been on my way to someplace and had no time to stop....but it works both ways. He knows I live right down from him and he's never come to meet me yet either.
