On a side note: Anyone know of any other clubs in the coastal bend area? The "Insomniac" guys inwas with before, well im driftin away from em. Heck im even thinkin bout startin my own group, just V6 cars. At least until i get back into a v8

I met a guy at the gas station that told me about this place, he said they've done his cars... I live right down the street lol

 

they are organizing an event.. n our car club is part of it... dont know any much details about them.. wl see how it goes.

I'm planning on being there. My V6 is still bone stock so I'm curious to see how much power it's putting to the ground.

A little background on this event:
"Ten years ago, about 15 owners of street rods made a trip from the Conroe-Houston area to the Chicken Oil Company in College Station. These car enthusiasts, led by William Luckey of Conroe, decided that they would get together on the first Sunday in January of each year. Since that first meeting, hundreds of street rodders make their journey to Bryan-College Station to join fellow rodders from all parts for this once a year event."

 

I joined the MCMC in December and I wanted to go to this event, it would have been my first club event and it sounded perfect but unfortunately work got in the way and I'll be in California from the 7th to the 17th of January. Look like the first club activity I will be attending is the "CAR/BIKE SHOW-SWAP MEET,CRAFTS,& TRADE DAYS MARCH 8th & 9th".

Thanks. She's doing ok but tires easily. She just didn't think she could deal with being in the car most of the day. I did the see the pics and video. Very cool!
