Labor Day cruise
Saturday August 31st 8.30 am
We will Start our cruise at the Taco Cabana located at the corner of Loop 336 and HWY 45 in Conroe(202 South Loop 336 W Conroe). We be cruising though the National Forest using FM 2854 to Montgomery there we will catch FM 149 to FM 1791 we will follow it to Huntsville. Once in Huntsville we will take HWY75 (AVE Q) to the Museum (463 ST HWY 75) . Our First stop will be to tour the Veterans Museum. Once we are finished at the museum we can cruise to the south side of Huntsville to the Mt Zion BBQ for a quick lunch. After lunch we can all head back home or tour the town of Huntsville. ( Sam Houston’s summer home , Steamboat house, Big Sam and Blue Lagoon)

Those that enjoy college football and wish to stay in Huntsville for a few hours can hang around for Sam Houston Bearkats home opening game. There is Tailgating starting at 4 pm and kick off at 6pm.

I wish there were events like this in the Corpus Christi area because I would definitely go.

Had a good time @ Ford Ecoboost challenge... best part was to track Focus ST.. loved it.. ford is definitely going in the right direction with that.

Any body interest to cruise to Mustang Fest on Friday Oct 4,2013

we plan to leave from houston,tx at 7:30am
Starplex Cinemas Inc, Northpark Dr, Kingwood, Texas

reach Padre Island at 2:30pm - travel to Mustang Island with the other mustangfest group coming in from San Antanio....

we have also another start point at 20010 Southwest Freeway Sugar Land, TX 77479 (chic fille) at 8:30am.

i dont plan to stay.. just cruise in, hang out in mustang island n will be return bac to houston.

I'm in Corpus Christi and assuming I'm not scheduled to work on Friday or if I can go in in the morning and be done in time, I'm definitely planning on joining the cruise that afternoon somewhere in the corpus area and heading all the way to Mustang Island with the group and then I'll probably hang out for a while and head home later on. I was hoping a few on here were interested. Like I said it all depends on scheduling for me on Friday which we never find out until the day before which is kind of annoying. But also if any are coming for the show on Saturday I will be there as well (work dependent of course).

we will be reaching Championship ford 6250 S Padre Island Dr, Corpus Christi, TX at 2:15pm. so if you can come join... we could go police escorted to mustang island from there. start time is 3:14pm.

I won't be done with work tomorrow until about 4 pm so ill end up missing the cruise through Corpus Christi. Assuming I don't have anything on Saturday as far as work I plan on being there for the show. Anyone else going on Saturday?

 

Anyone going to the Formula 1 race at Circuit of the Americas this weekend? I've been to NASCAR races at Dover, Talladega, Pocono and I've been to an Indycar race at Barber before but this will be my first Formula 1 race. Should be very cool seeing those cars in person. The technology is amazing.
