Well, ........I like the idea of cams but honestly I might just do some bling and save for getting blown. I will more than likely do the steeda ultra lites for a small drop. Then I think I'm just gonna bite the bullet and save for a SC. It will take a while but the sooner I start the sooner I'll have the money.

I say pass on the cams as well... its about a $1600 mod after all is said and done in labor (if your not doing it yourself) and from what I've heard its basically good for maybe 20hp and most of the time the sound of the car is only loping a little. I would say save and keep adding suspension mods and try and get your car to hook and in the mean time save for a super

That's pretty funny stuff...

Lance is a good guy. He sold us the wifes Edge and he's also a member of the club.

If you guys wanna try working on the custom biz.... A good way to start would be to work with BHF and do a few cars for them. That way you see if it's something worth doing etc.... just a thought.

I'd suggest doing a couple for them, then if everything goes well, we'd need to establish a tax ID, set up an LLC. The tax id would be to setp vendors for wholesale accts (cheap parts). The LLc is to cover our Aholes.

Paul and David... I have been talking about this business start up to Cassie, she thinks its a great Idea if things fell into place. It would be great to all somehow go in together and start up something similar to what will has going on, but entirely different if you know what I mean. I mean doing what you love and being paid for it is a wonderful thing. For me the passion is there, the work ethic is there, but knowing how to start up and run a business isnt. Also CarDFX Will doesnt touch the internet... I mean all of the vendors on this site are making money by being on here talking to other members and offering advice and services. I mean we are on here anyways, why not have a parts supply and be able to offer parts at reasonable prices through TMS or Modularfords. This could be a lucrative business indeed. If we could figure out a way to get this rolling that would be mindblowing. I have owned a mustang since I was 15 years old. first a 1989 mustang LX, next was a 1985 GT, then 1994 GT, then 96 GT, and now 2007 GT. Twin Brother has owned an 83 GT, 94 GT, 98 GT, and now a 1999 Cobra. Older brother has owned 83 GT, 85 GT, and 86 GT. Dad owns a 96 cobra convertible. Mom owns a 96 GT. Its safe to say its in my blood. Been going to the Tulsa Raceway since I was 11 years old and have been drawn to cars my whole life. Just the thought of being able to be around mustangs, modify them, see what you can accomplish with mods to the exterior, interior, and performance and see results and be proud of what you do... now there is no replacement for that feeling.

!

I totally agree the internet is the new Gold rush. Will at cardfx can't use it because he's too old and hasn't got a clue. With someone managing the internet side of online sales and then doing local service like will I think you could make 2X's what will does. I heard from someone that he clears 80,000 per mo. Then incorporate a good tuner and a dyno guy and you've got the makings of a Bama/Brenspeed type of place that everyone knows.

Where did you hear the 1 million per month figure? That's a lot of money for a mom and pop shop.

Hell we could just become a vendor and figure out how to start shipping parts. Then move to opening a store and little by little start adding to it?

Cool. We appreciate it!

All: I just sent out an email to our list. I also asked Claudette from the TuesNightCruise to foward it on. I will also update the website and post it on a few other forums.

Zesy: Where have you been buddy? Are you coming out Sat? How did the window turn out?

Ok.. The word is out there and the website updated. I also talked with Randy. I asked him if they had some kind of giveaways and or door prizes. He said he does have stuff he can throw together. So, if I'm not there Sat, ask him/ remind him about this...
