Bold Moves Mustang Club of Tulsa
Well Guys I had some extra Tax return money and as you know purchased the FRPP 4.10 gears and am getting them installed (when could I get it in and how long will they take). Decided to order another mod to compliment the gears. The HURST short throw shifter(chrome handle w/ white hurst ****!!! I got to thinking about it and with the added gears and me having to shift more often I thought it would make shifting more enjoyable and easier. I hated the stock shifter and the Hurst just looks cool (in my opinion of course)!! looks like after I get the hurst and the gears installed I am going to have to wait a bit... gather myself and settle down on all the back to back mods.... got a little crazy this past month, but I think it was worth it! Next is definitely the lowering springs and tinted windows. O and I am going to start my research on tires as well.
I feel like TOP GUN now

Give Benji a call at 918-232-3313. Tell him your a member of our club and need gears installed. He'll set up a time. As for how long it takes, we all dropped ours off at 4 or 430 on different days and each one was done by 630 or 7. He's awesome and he knows his stuff and he's quick as hell.
Hey Taylor good to see you back on the thread. Yes we flood the thread I hope you can make it on Sun to the show.
I'm out.....other plans
Bob what could be more important than baking in the sun and getting cheap trophys?? We have a CANOPY now!!!
I'm out too... my wheelchair lift won't be installed til next week...
Paul, can we still display your car at the Mid America show? Can Tracy drive it to the show? ALso, are you registered yet? Go back several pages and look for the info that I need from you about our display.
Bob, are you going to display with us at Mid America or with Ed? If with us, are you pre-registered yet? Go back a few pages and read what I found out from the Mid America people.
So how long is it going to take me to install the shifter??
If it's like the Pro 5.0 or TriAx, only about and hour and a 1/2 as long as it doesn't rain and you don't have to push the car and you don't break off any bolts, and your shifter arm isn't bent...
We started the install outside cause it was nice and we had more room. Then the heavens opened and drowned us. We pushed it in the garage in the rain. We then found out the shifter arm to the trans was bent and we had to straighten it out. Then when tightening the nut on the bolt to the chasis I tightened it too much and it broke...what should have taken us 1 and 1/2 hours took us almost 4.
That sucks!! did you guys drop the drive shaft?? or work around it?
Probably have the wife drive it... Jeff sent you the info. Let me know if that's what you're needing.
Ok so no Bob for the show. Bob that sucks! I was hoping to get some more pointers on the bling thing from ya.
Ok well if Bob is out then I need to know if anyone else is attending or not If no one else has any interest then I won't go. I have to switch days with someone at work to go so if no others then I won't switch. Come on guys lets go get baked at the car show. This one should be a quickie I think judging by 5:00 registration begins around 12:00 I think. Special award for club participation is being given out. Lets win one for the club!
