Hey David...where did you get your helmet again?? and can you post a pic of it?? OH and I need you to model it haha need to see what it looks like on!

 

I got mine from the Owasso Wal-Mart in the car section. This Wal-Mart is the only location that sells helmets. It is a Bell and I think it cost 70 bucks or so. They have like 3 different styles all around the same price. Technically not for use drag racing but for TRP its more than fine.

 

AHHH I see... I wonder if anywhere else here in Tulsa sells helmets... well not for an arm and a leg anyway.

 

I don't know of anywhere as cheap as the good old wally world. I am sure you could go to like Honda or the Harley store and get one but I bet you pay twice as much.

 

I got mine at Honda of Tulsa. I was a few years back.
I know places like Summitt and Jegs has them. In fact I think jeff got his there. I think it was under 100 hogs.

Well I dont know.. On one hand I could get a cheaper helmet in Owasso and on the other I could go to Honda of Tulsa and get a bad *** helmet that would make me look sooo cool!!

 

Ok details on the Bass Pro Show are as follows: meet me at the bass pro shop at around 12:00 and we'll scout it out. Not sure on the cost to enter? I know that registration is supposed to start at 1:00 and trophys will be handed out at 5:00. Is Blue Boss going?

Your mellon looks to be about the same size as mine so I guess you are like a 7 1/4 hat size or large in the helmet. If you go somehwere to buy one just try it on.

 

Calling for a 60% chance of rain for tomorrow so I guess we'll play it by ear on the car show. It may be cancelled due to the weather. But if not then there will be less competition. If we go we could come away with somthing jus tdue to the fact that no one else was there. LOL

Ok now I am not sure I am going... Still might do it anyway, but went to wash the car today and low and behold my passenger fog light is shattered. It still works but the glass in front looks like a rock hit it or some punk kid hit it with something. Went to every ford dealer in tulsa, but all parts departments are closed. Not sure what to do about it for the car show if I go. Either take the fog light completely out. Or Remove the glass and keep the fog light in there. THIS SUCKS!!! Now I am not sure if I am going to be able to get just one fog light. I might have to purchase the set and that would set me back a penny or two.
