The more the merrier would be cool for this project. I should have done it myself in the first place. I learn my lesson yet again. Just thought since Benji did such a good job before it would be ok. Also I really didn't want to **** with the pinion angle thing. Wrong again on that one too. We'll quadrouple check the angle when we pull the shaft off. I have the Ford Shop manual directions for measuring the angle.

 

I also bought the wrenches needed the adjust the UCA last night. They are huge. 1 inch and 1 and 1/8 inch box end wrenches.

 

The way the weeks going... let's plan on 6:30. I've been getting home around 6:15. Anywhere for the pizza. Doesn't matter.

Dave-Any idea why my shifter is squeaking? COuld it be the copper bushings or the rubber bushings underneath? Could it be that bent arm we had to straighten?

 

Now your shifter is messing up? Geeez... You have the worst luck dude.

 

Well, at least this go around yes. I think I just need to spray some WD40 on the bushings underneath and all will be well. I called Pro 5.0 and that is what they suggested.

If all else fails I'll just order the MGW shifter and get the best. I went with Pro 5.0 because of name and past use. I will say I like the old Pro 5.0s better than the one I have.

 

If anyone has to take one for the team, I guess it should be me, huh?
