I'd love to go except I have review sessions all day with professors for finals so I am stuck here in Tulsa
I am up for drags on Friday night though...assuming we ever get my pinion angle set correctly. Everyone seems to have a different story or understanding on how to set the ****ed thing
I can't make it this Saturday. Provided mother nature gives us a break, I'll be there Friday night.
I'll send something out...
I'll send something out...
right on. It's a shame more cannot attend
David make sure you take my cell ## so we can hook up Saturday.
Bob same number that I usually call you on right? if not shoot it over in a PM. I bet the thing is gonna be madness.
Same number, it is going to be hugh.....the OKC paper and all other local city papers have had major coverage on the show.
Makes me wonder if I shouldn't get there really early on sat.???
Bob join me in showing the cars. I have decided to register on Sat morning and enter the show. Might be a good way to make some new members and meet some new peeps. Come on bob $50 bucks and your set. Perhaps we could park next to each other for the clubs sake do it man!!!
Guys, I really need help on this pinion angle thing. Can anyone help a brother out? We keep adjusting it incorrectly I think. I'm sure Benji is tired of seeing me.
Jeff I know I read somewhere on here or on a web site that the optimal angle is like neg 3 deg. I'll try to find where I saw or read it. If I remember right it was a reputable source. Is benji using an angle meter or measuring device of some kind??
Ok jeff heres another one from steeda. It is there installation instructions for there upper adjustable arm for the 05-07 mustang. they recommend 2-5 deg neg.

I wish I could adjust it right now. Dave could I drive over and get your help real quick on this tonight?
Step number 10 on the steeda write up says with the one piece drive shaft you need to measure the verticle mounting surface of the transmission bell housing with the angle inclinometer then measure the pinion flange angle and subtract one from the other for the optimal angle.
Do you have a link for that article?
Never mind. Just saw it above.
