I was wrong...... BUT WTH is this about Bday cake?
Mustang Club of America's 30th Anniversary Stampede-Birmingham, Alabama. We have over 900 cars pre-registrated/Judges Choice and 150+ Concours cars for the event next weekend, so get there early. They will start getting in line for the "Mustang Monthly Pony Trails", Thursday at 5:00.The line up will start at the main road/gate at Barber Motorsports Park. With the Alabama State Troopers leading the way at 6:00 p.m. The cruise-in to Homewood, Al. should be a big street party. Live band & birthday cake.
I am not sure how many "Yellow Mustang Registry" corral cars we have, but we should try to get in line together for the cruise- in.
The Corral area for the show is running over with cars, and had to be enlarged. The parking for the show is "first come" parking with numbered spaces.
The Show event area is large, so bring your walking shoes, and lots of water.
See Ya at the show. Ray

Oh Last night I was showing my Dad some of the pictures on the timline here. He informs me some of his old mustangs are(were) in the hands of some MC Mustangs Members.
That makes me sad. Mainly because they aren't in his(my) hands.
a 65 gt, a 69 Mach, a 68 convertible....... Maybe I will get to revisit them this weekend.

Bright and early this morning us girls got up and headed out to Vulcan met up with everyone...
We left there about 9:30 or so and headed over to Barber.
After the mess of registering, we all get over to the paddock. Its Fugging HOT out there.
The only complaint I have is the display only cars were WAY on top of a steep hill you had to climb up and down, instead of the general area everyone else was in. No one is stupid enough to climb a hill to go see the display cars. I think that was a mistake. HAS to be. Brad if you read this, can you check WTF?
We got lots of toys-
Ralph got a new upper and lower grille(billett) and sequentials.
Ellie got Hoodpins and Taillight decals.
We had to leave around 2:30 because I was about to pass out- I got roasted in the baking sun, and I sweated so much my hair crusted over. I had to come home and put the toys on and shower for dinner tonight.
And tomorrow we do it all over again!

There is SOME shade under the observation deck by the track- its down at the very bottom of the show. Otherwise, unless you are shopping under a tent, you are SOL for it.
You might also want to bring water- its $2.50 a bottle there, and the numerous fountains are warm.
See you tomorrow!
