This will increase the traffic on the dragon. It was nice over here in NC not to have to fight the TN and beyond traffic on the dragon. But all is good.

 

Now, if they'd at least ban the semis...

I can't wait to make my first trip to the dragon later this summer when I get my new rims and tires installed. Reverend, is there a specific time of year you would recommend going? I've already decided to go on a Wednesday or Thursday to avoid weekend traffic.

 

Anytime of the year is OK, as long as there has not been any snow, but watch it if the Temperatures are low because I have run across an icy spot or 2 up there. Fall is always nice with the leaves changing, but again, if it has been raining watch out for wet leaves on the road.
Depends on the time of day you go, I go up a lot on the weekends, I just go up early in the AM.
Also while up there you might want to go up on Cherohala Skyway, awesome road, less traffic with faster corners
