I am thinking about renting a movie theater and showing the new 2005 Mustang "Cornfield" commercial and Bullitt on the silver screen the day before the commercial debuts to the public. Would you be willing to come to Birmingham on a Thursday afternoon/night and pay $7 to see the commercial before everyone else and Bullitt in surround sound?

I have permission from Ford to show the commercial one day before it debuts to the public, and they're going to try to send "Anthem" as well.

The problem is that I have to find a 35mm version of Bullitt.

 

I would be there in a heartbeat if I wasn't in Atlanta - afternoon commute away from the city would take eons! You still rock though! I wonder what movie they are attaching the commerical to - I don't know of any big debuts that Friday -

Yeah, just found out yesterday that it isn't going to happen. Apparently the commercial is "in the 20," meaning that it's packaged with other commercials and previews, and they're programmed to start at certain times. I'd need to provide the commercial separately, which would cost $100,000.

I will probably look into renting a drive-in theater to show Bullitt sometime soon though.
