Official *be on the lookout for* thread
They have also been putting some release 1 items on the shelves so who knows what Wal-Mart has in their warehouses or what Autoworld is sending them when they order. I am still missing 8 cars from release 2 (6 deluxe and 2 premiums).
Hotwheels B cases are showing up online.
The awesome road racer '10 GT500 is in it. It looks great!

Also, there is a new series to replace the underwhelming Cool Classics line.
The '69 Boss 302 Trans Am casting from the Racing Series a few years ago is back in it.

It looks like the Greenlight '67 Shelby GT500, Eleanor is making its way out to shelves!
The use of the Shelby Collectibles casting seems to be more or less intact. The proper "Eleanor" hood is present. The front PIAA driving lights are not cast in but rather tampoed in. The lettering of GT500 on the rocker stripes is absent.

When I get this car in hand, I will post more pics. But, what I have seen also missing is the rear medallion is not the Eleanor snake and GT500 emblem, it is simply an "E".
My guess is Greenlight did not get Shelby to authorize the use of the Shelby name, Cobra snake or GT500 name. But, what perplexes me is the fact that Greenlight was able to get the casting to use for the replication of Eleanor. Yet, not the words or logos. Hmmm.
One very nice new detail on the GL versus SC is the fact that GL decided to further paint the wheels.
Also, Autoworld has the '15 Mustang GT coming out!

As promised and predicted, the Greenlight 1/64 Eleanor GT500 is directly cast from the same mold as the Shelby Collectibles.
The GL is more detailed. The wheels are painted correctly, whereas SC left them chrome. The LeMans stripes are better on the GL, too. One thing about build quality, the GL version has much tighter hood opening and closing than SC. The wheels however, are not aligned. they wobble like crazy.

Costco for the win!
LOL.....definitely Costco for the win! I already had the DIB '15, but a friend was in Costco and picked up a bunch for himself, and a Race Red '15 for me, plus the silver '10 Roush 427R 'vert
It's a small world, as our Costco is in the UK

In fact, I'm still waiting on the '15 Hotwheels to make it to the stores here. There's one (and only one!) on UK eBay, but the seller wants £9.99 for what should be a £1 model
