Official *be on the lookout for* thread
On further investigation regarding my last post, I found pics of the upcoming 1/64. It too has the black side stripes. No GT500, Cobra, or Shelby designations. I'm wondering if GL got "rights" to use the Shelby Collectibles casting tools for a cheaper price if they would not use the GT500, Shelby or Cobra logos.
Notice in this GL picture, they do not regard it as a Shelby, but a '67 Mustang.

Also, the side emblem seems to be this one that is on the Classic Recreation's Gone in 60 Seconds Officially Licensed car.

Instead of this one that was on the movie cars.

Also, one really small nitpick thing I noticed on the 1/64. The casting for the body is clearly the "recast" with out the PIAA driving lights openings. They used screen printed (tampo printed) dots to replicate that. I know that Shelby Collectibles last year, had to recast their "Eleanors" without the driving lights and use the stock '67 Shelby hood instead of the Eleanor cowl hood (my guess is Gone in 60 Seconds owner rights issues with Toby Halacki's widow).

Here are the three different Shelby Collectibles '67 GT500 castings...the "cheap", the recast, and the original movie accurate on the far right.

Online, Q case Hotwheels have been spotted for stupidly expensive prices...people, please wait til they hit store shelves.

Also spotted is the ZAMAC version of the '12 Boss 302. Not pictured.
The '15 GT will be in that release as well.

P cases will be hitting shelves in the coming days...

Also, in the Retro Entertainment series, this 90210 '65 Mustang.

And, the 1/18 Maisto '15 Mustangs are showing up, too.

The 2015 Mustang Hotwheels is not hit US store shelves yet. They will be everywhere in mid September. But, this photo is from a blog I frequent who gets cases of them way early. Sorry if I misled you to think they were out already.
