N CASE Hotwheels hitting online stores now...

 

There is an interesting new development with the Mustang 50th 5 packs coming out right about now. The '65 Mustang convertible, a casting that has been around for thirty years, has fallen victim to Mattel's cost cutting. They are transitioning over to a closed hood and a plastic base.

But, on the bright side, the casting gets redone with better details, tighter wheels (closer to the center of the chassis, not huge floppy axles and wheels). The better details include crisper interior details, redone trunk lines, and a rear gas cap. The grille gets cleaned up as well...You can also notice the windsheild and interior are no longer removable and are better castings. Keep an eye out!

 

I am not a 1/18 collector, but as you guys have heard, GMP is coming back through Greenlight Collectables. Here is a video review on some 1/18 Fox GT Mustangs. Both a coupe and convertible.

 

BIG NEWS! 2015 Mustang GT Hotwheels pics! This means it'll be on shelves at the end of August if not earlier!

 

Wow! Greenlight sure did a good job re-releasing the Shelby Collectibles casting ( It is the same casting just rebranded and detailed). Most notably the wheels are tinted and the license plate is correct! Though look closely and notice, no GT500 designation, or "Cobra" emblem in back...an "E"? LOL. I wonder if this is an unlicensed use...hmmm.
