Since Maisto won't do a white Cobra, I had to do one. I had bought a spare Mineral gray one and it too a little acid bath. I plan to eventually have/do all the factory colors of the Terminators.

Here is what was done:
-Stripped paint, primered it, and painted it white.
-Made and applied decals and license plate.
-Painted wheels white (I like the look).
-Carpeted and detailed interior and trunk.
-Lowered it by removing 3 coils all the way around.
-Detailed the chassis.

Yes, I recognize the name! I used Laquer DuppliColor Gloss White rattle can from an automotive store. I shot several other car at the same time (some brand-x stuff).

I will not make a Sonic one as Maisto makes them both in coupe and vert. The vert is easy to find, but it seems that the coupe was a Sam's only release.
I am on the hunt for one of those too

 

Is the sonic blue a coupe or vert?

 

I've got a coupe. I bought it off the internet. They said it was kinda rare, but I thought they were just trying to make a sale. The price wasn't out of line, either.

I got it from Steedshop.com, but apparently they don't have any more. It was $19.44, actually. Just looked at the receipt.
