I dyed these too..
AND...Finally got my Treasure hunt in a trade with the same friend..

Hey Luke,
Can you tell me how how you dye these again? I can't seem to find the post where you gave the steps before.
I want to try some just for S&G.

2. pour the RIT dye from the packet (only as much as you need for the desired color). It doesnt take much. Stir.
3. I stick wooden scewers through the open windows to be able to get the cars out without dying my skin.
4. Let the cars sit in the dye. the longer they sit, the more intense the color.
5. White cars are the best to start with.
6. after desired color is dyed on the car, rinse off with cold water.
