The best die-cast to collect?

Hi;

Looking to start a collection of die-casts. 1:18 to 1:24 'ish. What should I start with? Is any specific manufacturer better than others?

Thanks

Walt

I usually don't pay any attention to manufacturer. If I like diecast, I will buy it. If I don't then I won't.

I prefer 1:18 since there is large selection.

My favorite brand is Road Legends. Details are great and price is not high. Auto Art is probably the best one for details, but they can be pretty pricey.

Lane Exact Replicas are pretty amazing. Franklin Mint and GMP are also of very high quality, followed by Auto Art.

For 1/18 scales I like GMP and Hwy 61.
