Thumbs up

I have been trying to compile a Die-Cast Mustang Check List, mainly in the 1/64th scale, including Hot Wheels, Matchbox, and Johnny Lightning, with variations.

I mainly collect MOC, or MIB first, before I open one I really like.

Hot Wheels has not really been a problem, but there is not a whole lot there on Matchbox.

Lee's Guide To Toys has been a great help, but I was wondering if any of you guys had anything you would like to share.

Thanks, in advance.

You can add Muscle Machines to your checklist, '66 Shelby's & '69 Boss 302's

Try Doug Breithaupts site:
http://www.breithaupts.com

Doug publishes a monthly online e-zine about 1/64 scale cars. There is an article in his archives on vintage Mustang and Shelby models (64 1/2- 73). Though it's not complete, it's a very good starting point. I may also be able to help. Let me know what you are looking for.

This sounds like a good idea for my website. If anyone has a list they can send me I will work on adding it to my site.

Another place to try for help on Matchbox Mustangs is

www.mboxcommunity.com

Someone there might be able to help with the MBs. Do you need help with Johnny Lightnings?

Sorry for the slow reply, been out of town, I'll transfer what I have to my PC and copy, and paste the info here sometime in the next month.

Thanks for the help, and links.

I have a goodly portion of my collection in a Database (~2Mb), I can send whomever a copy to merge in. Its got about 1100 diecast entries, and 370 model kit entries. I have some image files of a bunch of both I don't have that could be used to cull more information from.

Just got back around to checking this thread, had to replace my PC.

Will do something with it in a couple of days.

BTW, Notice that the current Matchbox Superfasts sure are VHTF, got very lucky on a recent trip to KY finding the '05 and '65 GT, as well as the '68 Cougar, GT 40, 427 S/C Cobra, and some GM stuff, '69 Z28, '70 GTO, '71 Chevelle, and '05 Vette.
