Mach1, I saw the redfire GT on the Pony tour. The red leather interior with the brushed metalic interior looked sweet. I have great confidence it would also look good in just about any shade of gray. It's a very beautiful car in that color. If you go that route you won't be sorry.
Put me down for:

spoiler delete
If possible, base stereo system. I'll remove it and replace it with a CD/MP3/DVD and a pop-up LCD screen so I can watch Lord of the Rings in the SDSU parking lot.
And I'll probably mod the exhaust to make it a bit louder. I want to scare little children with it.

Clean up engine bay 1st
hear exhaust and see if i like it stock
Think about the ram-air and hood setup. I love the stock hood so much i'm not even sure.
17 or 18" rims with Mickey Thompsons, if I can find the size, or BFG's for sure.
If 18's more sidewall than show car's shown with 18's. Wider at the rear too.
Check if they have a ducktail that looks clean.
Figure out about glare proofing the headlights, especially in the sun.
Thats all I can think about for now.

i am wanting either a white or mineral grey, with the dark charcoal interior and IUP i would love a GT but depends on the price on whether or not i get it or the V6 and as for mods go the most i see myself doing it maybe different exhaust and window tint other than that i dont' really see myself changing it to much.But to answer your question i say definatly go for the black with the red interior that would be awesome looking!

I will get the concept hood when it becomes available, and probably look at upgrading the radio head unit with that cool sony circular unit to match the fan grilles. I like the engine intake cover too! I'm leaning heavily towards the darkside and getting an Automatic, because from what I can tell, us non-drag racers aren't going to see a big performance drop, but I'll wait to test drive before making my final decision! :jedi:

I will wait till next spring or June before I decide on what I am going to do. Maybe by then, there will be more info on a Mach 1 or a Stang that is between a GT and a Cobra.
If I do get a GT, it will be loaded, 5 speed, Black or Silver. My 2001 GT was Black, and I loved it!! I called it Darth Vader - lol
Silver would hide small scratches and dust better though..
We have 2 SUV's that are in the Red catagory, and my 87 GT is white, so I think I am going to stay away from both of those colors.

Up until saturday, when I washed my mother in-laws black v6 '01 stang, Ii though I wanted a black cobra. Now I think I will stick with silver, maybe get some navy blue or black racing stripes
