the seat of my new 06 Tungsten GT.

I traded my 05 Satin gt for an 06 Tungsten today. I hated the noisy notchy POS Manual Transmission in the 05. So I went looking for Tungsten 06 with an Automatic. Found one and the Ford Dealer gave me a good deal on my 05 Trade so I did it...

Anyway as I was placing my custom mats in the new ride I had to move the drivers seat all the way up to place the rear mat in. Low and behold what do I find?

A CRACK PIPE!!! No kidding people I kid you not. It was a glass pipe and had been used. There was resin in the pipe.

So this is a brand new car off the lot. It had 5 miles on it. So either some wastoid crack smoker test drove the car and got pulled over then ditched the pipe on a test drive. Or, the cleaning guy at the dealer is a crackhead!

What realy freaks me out is perhaps it was left over from a factory worker!!!!

Hahaha

Anyway I crushed the pipe and threw it in the garbage. Should I tell the dealer what I found?

I'd tell the dealer about it. That's not very responsible to let you drive off the lot with illegal paraphanalia in your car that you could have potentially got in trouble for.

Oh heck YA !! Ya gotta tell the dealer...how else will ya get more ?? Oh...wait...you mean the CAR dealer....sorry...never mind..

But seriously, you have to let them know. Wouldn't you want to know if you owned/ran the dealership??

I would have left it right where it is and drove back so the dealership owner/manager could see for themselves. Without evidence they probably just think your fishing for free mods/add-ons,lol!!

Wow...what a find. Yeah I would probably let the dealer know. But then again, if someone got in trouble for it, when you bring it in for service, it might affect the look of your car. People don't forget, even when they were the idiot. Just a thought.

Seeing as how you could have potentially been arrested had you been pulled over and searched - yep, I'd let them know. Not having evidence sucks - even a picture of it would've sufficed.

That is simply unacceptable though.

I bet it was a weed not crack. I would let the dealer know...could have been bad if you got pulled over once the car was yours.

Squeal to the dealer. If you had gotten pulled over that would have been your . What would you say, um, uh, that's not mine..... Tell and get something for your trouble from the dealer.

My friend found some cookies in his Saturn's bumper. It fell off in an accident, and that's when he saw them...there was no way they could have been put there other than when the car was built.

One man's crack is another man's cooky!

Take it back to the dealer, the car dealer, and have them bring in the cops with their dog and go over the whole car to make sure there are no more surprises.

A CRACK PIPE!!! No kidding people I kid you not...
Forget about it. That's a pre tested standard feature with all the A/Ts. And you threw it away.

Big mistake. You'll probably have to get one within a couple of weeks.

I just checked under my seat... no crack pipe! Isn't it a dealer installed option? Guess I'll try the aftermarket...

I can almost guarantee it came from a lot boy who was cleaning your car prior to delivery. I worked that job for a while, lots of flakes. Lots of bagging on vehicles. That's why they're called "lot boys." J/K...

You removed the crack pipe? You just voided your warranty.
