I was at my dealer today getting the "Finishing Touch" done. As I was waiting I got into a conversation with the Fleet Manager who does all the ordering. I posted before that they had a whole bunch of Mustangs coming in the next 2 months. I was wrong.......way too low. They have a Whole Lot More than I thought coming in the next 6 weeks. More than you'd believe.

He showed me the numbers for sales state wide and they're the #1 dealer of Mustangs in the state. What you want just might be coming in very soon. If not chances are he can get it or at least give you an honest idea as to what to expect.

I'm not sure if I can give his name or his personal email address here, so if you're interested or curious just send me a PM and I'll send you the contact info ASAP.

They had a bunch on the lot today including 6 convertibles. The one in the showroom is a Sonic Blue GT Vert, manuel 5 speed, IUP with the light tan leather. Simply beautiful.

It was raining today so the photo of their front line is a bit dark.

Tom,

I honestly do understand your frustration. I just got lucky finding these guys. Good weather is just around the corner and a one way air ticket isn't that much. Would be a nice drive home.

Their V6's are $450 over invoice and the GT's are a shade under MSRP.

Sigh ... again. #1 Dealer in the state gets the most. You're right. Nothing wrong with it at all.

:bang: Man, this really irks me.

I really regret ordering from the dealer I chose. Granted they got me X-plan, but it was a smaller dealership. I would almost have rather paid MSRP to not have to wait 4 months.

Well, at least I found out the one in front of me got serialized today

It's very cool you found these! No doubt it would be worth the price of an airline ticket and would be a great drive home. Unfortunately, my job won't let me get away right now.
As far as the allocation system....all I'm saying is they should be filling retail orders right now, not stocking dealers lots!

Thing I don't get is it seems like the NW United States is getting really slighted. None of the dealerships around here get many in and there are virtually none on the street... No dealerships have them on the lot.

I didn't see any GT's on the front line but they did have 2 outside the showroom; 1 Black and 1 Silver, as well as the Sonic Blue Vert in the showroom, which sold just hours after they got it. Out of all the various 6's, GT's and Vert's they'll be receiving in the next 6 weeks, 30 are already sold, but that still leaves plenty more to choose from. The average time one sits on their lot is 3-4 days.

Most of the V6's on the front line had IUP, only with a Black Dash with Polished Silver vents.

I have been debating this in my head for a while. Yes anyone can fly/drive to another state to get their car. But why should we? And why should we have to drive our car back and use up our miles on our warranty?? Ford just needs to start delivering their car to those people that have ordered it.

I know I am starting to sound bitter. Sorry. But after seeing 8 Mustangs in Oklahoma this week and waiting 16+ weeks I think I have earned it. I just want my car. And I would like it sometime this model year.

BTW we checked in at some Oklahoma Dealers and they didnt have any Mustangs at all, and the order time was still "6-8 weeks". If I have to wait that much longer I might as well get an 06.

I'm sorry, but you aren't the biggest mustang dealer in the state. We have small place here called Galpin
