I just met a guy that I have not seen in years, he just bought an 05. He is a huge Mustang fan and has had many over the years and with the money he has, he turns them into a beautiful, powerfull piece of work (art).
Anyway, he ordered his 05 last week and it took 7 days to get it!!! Not only that, he worked out a deal that he put $1000 down on a GT 500 and when it comes in he has a garanteed price the dealer will give him to buy back his 05! I guess he buys a lot of vehicles from them (deaer) with his business so he had a little pull there.
Pretty amazing to be able to get the car you want in a week. Sorry for some of you waiting so long, I guess there is a little more available Mustangs above the 49th.

I don't know what to say, except I can’t be upset if something works out for someone the way I think it should. I wish the wait was the exception not the rule. I think Karpro posted that his allocation for 06’s is backed up to next spring already.
Thanks posting someone’s good news, we all need that!

Hmmm, that does not sound possible. If it is, very cool. I'm thinking the dealership searched around and found an exact match and had it shipped in?
I'm not trying to start anything but that sounds too good to be true. Anyone else???

The car was already built, it was shipped to the dealership from another. I don't know why it doesn't happen more down there in the States? Like I said, I think there are more GT's available in Canada than the States.
When I say available, I mean sitting on dealer lots waiting for buyers.
