4 Good reasons

The IUP delay has been GOOD for the following 4 reasons:
1. Extra time to decide on body style and now year 05 or 06.
2. Chance for Ford to fix various first model year problems.
3. Incentives may be around the corner for V6 buyers.
4. Extra aftermarket opportunities.

 

There's got to be some more Good reasons....what are they?

ummm...I think the title of this needs to be edited. Its inferring that IUP has been permanently cancelled(gone for good), which I dont think has happened unless I missed something recently.

 

It got my attention though. Ha Ha!

The point isn't valid no matter what reasons he lists.
How can any option that is in 80% of the cars sold being permanently gone a good thing? Now if it were gone and replaced with something even better then one could say that.

I heard that Aliens took all the IUP's anyway. Or was it Pee Wee Herman?

Please change the forum topic! My heart stopped when I saw it! I am still hoping that the GT I ordered with IUP on December 30 will arrive sometime in 2005!

 

B) I'm a part of this IUP delay too, since the first one in October ....so I thought I'd use a creative title thread to generate a little interest...a couple months ago I decided not to go nuts over this IUP thing and it's worked...and I do believe some good things have/will come out of this delay.....sorry for the tease, but hey it is just a very minor thing in the scope of things, it's just another car interior...albeit a Mustang one

The 2005 remake of War of the Worlds is coming out this summer. Maybe that's what happened.
