x-plan questions...
#1
My company just announced last week that they partnered with Ford and I am now eligible for x-plan pricing. I haven't paid much attention to it up to this point since it wasn't for me - but now I have some questions.
I did search a bit - but couldn't find anything.
what is exactly the x-plan price. I've heard its $250 under invoice.......$200 over invoice......and I've heard both +- 3% of invoice. Can someone please clarify the dollar figure on a new GT (delux - 5spd - IUP - shaker 500 - spoiler delete).
Do you get a break on factory options too?
I have a copy of the latest price sheet (shows dealer holdback - invoice - MSRP) and I'm just trying to nail down a $ figure on the car I want.
Any shared knowledge will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
A-Rex

As an X-Plan qualifier, you should be able to get access to the forddirect.com website x-plan login. Then you can pull up x-plan price on any vehicle. The caveat is, you have to find it in stock at a dealer. You can't get pricing for an order car. But, go to a dealer, identify yourself as x-plan eligible, and if they will deal with x-plan, they will hand you an invoice with x-plan price right on it.

Yes you can get order pricing etc. You just have to have the code to enter at fordpartners.com
mine was xb005
. Try it out, build it and it will tell you cost and look for one at a dealer etc. Good luck.

Hey....you'll have to get the code from your human resources rep and go to the ford web site and enter it and it will let you register that code, then it'll give you a PIN # to use. you'll take that to the dealership for them to use for your discount. I bought an
in- stock GT Deluxe, single CD radio, spoiler, cloth seats, wheel locking kit, auto trans. MSRP was $26,270. With the x-plan, our drive out price was $24,343. You didn't say where you lived. I went to Opelika, Alabama to Mike Patton Ford. Our dealership here in LaGrange, GA wouldn't accept the plan, so I went about 50 miles away to Alabama.

Hey all, I know I've seen this a few times, and now that I am less than a year away from ordering, Ijust wanted to throw my hook out and see if there are any good hearted Ford employees out there who would be willing to donate an X-Plan PIN#? I'll be ordering in Jan 06 and I understand the PINs are good for a year. Any help appreciated.

Keep calling around...other TMS members have gotten A-Plan.
And as far as X-Plan pricing...take the MSRP and multiply by 0.925 and you'll get pretty close to the X-Plan price.

thank you to everyone who has replied so far. I've been to the FordDirect site and have entered my companies code. However - the site I am directed to will not let me build "my car" to see the pricing - it just has examples.
On a good note - I have already found a dealer that will honor x-plan on an order. I guess thats the benefit from being 20 miles away from a "rural" dealership - they don't seem to care about price - they want volume and good word of mouth.
Thanks again!

A-Rex,
If ordering on Xplan, make sure your dealer can get your order filled!
I ordered my GT prem Dec 1 and was the last xplan delivery on March 25.
Karpro said something about orders being hard to fill. it's all about dealer allocations. If you can get one off the lot, then it's no problem!
Happy Trails!!

I have a problem. I qualify for the A plan, but no one wants to honor it. What is the point of having it if a dealer can reject it?
