For X-Plan? Thats way too high ...
hummm, $23489 before options! Over $3000 in options! Too much? How much for a nicely loaded Premium GT then?

Now I'm bummed...why are you getting a $1000 better deal??? I thought all x-plan numbers were the same. If you're getting yours for 25,500, you're saving a grand for going manual, but you're also saving another grand for what? Is yours a deluxe GT?

Notice on that there is the seperate A/Z/D and X pricing ... you don't have that on yours.

Grantsdale your right! Going back today to get that fixed! It was this fleet mgr's first order and I had to keep correcting codes for him. Missed order type:1 instead of order type:x. hope it saves me that missing $1000. Thanks.

Ok Guys I purchased my car through X-Plan on Saturday. My order was figured like this. Invoice w/ holdback + Destination Charge (Delivery) + 197.36. SO I PAID IN TOTAL $197.36 DOLLARS OVER INVOICE (DEALER INVOICE W/ HOLDBACK).

My order:

GT Premium (torch red)
Auto
Upgraded Wheels
IUP
ICAP
AATS
Side AB
Locking wheels

Base: $23,489
Options $2,218 (Fully loaded minus shaker 1000)
Advert/Adjustments (X-plan markup) $197.36
Destination : $625

Total: $26529 SOLD

Sorry AFBLUE but your calculations are incorrect. I have my order confirmation sheet with full pricing right here.
I hearby admit that I was in error in using a formula that was not verified as true. And for that I am sorry for the confusion I have contributed to. But maybe I can redeem myself (or get myself in deeper)

Based on info sheet you just provided and the http://forums.bradbarnett.net/index.php?showtopic=6896 example. I think I may have stumbled across how to figure A&D price

Take the Invoice price and add +625 (destination and delivery) +22.55 (for 11 US Gal), and $240 for FDAP assessment.

Take this # and multiply by .031757 to determine the dealer holdback amount. Round the result off to an even $ amount and subtract from the total of the invoice, destination, gas, and FDAP. Then take this # and subtract $280 ($115 for some financing dealer cost and $165 to calculate A-Plan). This should equal the A&D plan price.

Example from thread http://forums.bradbarnett.net/index.php?showtopic=6896

Invoice = 24,162, + 625 + 22.55 + 240= $25049.55 x .031757 = 795 (this dealer holdback #can be seen on the sheet).

25,049.55-795=$24254.55. 24254.55-280=23974.55. This is the A&D plan price. Matches the sheet. Multiply A Plan Price (23974.55) by 1.04 and add $150 and you get the X-Plan price which comes out to 25083.53. This matches the sheet.

Now lets take #s from Mellow Yellow's paperwork and do the same thing.
Invoice total price of Mellow Yellow's car = 23909
23909 + 625 +22.55+240=$24796.55 x .031757 = 787 (dealer holdback).
24796.55 - 787 = 24009.55
24009.55 -280 = 23729.55 (A/D/Z Plan) which matches Mellow's sheet
23729.55 x 1.04 = 24678.73 +$150 = 24828.73 (X-plan price) which matches Mellow's sheet

I'm not saying that this is the gospel truth but it does work mathmatically in the two examples above. Knowing my luck, this is old news and has already been posted in a different thread.

I have X Plan, and I am paying the exact same as MellowYellow. In fact, my sheet is identical to MellowYellows in every way.

Also, for those who dont know, the dealers are NOT losing a ton of cash on these deals. Ford gives Plan incentives to any dealership who sells on Plans. The guys who are not honoring Plans are the ones who are going to try and stick at MSRP or higher with EVERYONE.

My dealer was more than happy to price me at XPlan, and did an A plan right after us. He doesnt care, he is still getting his money no matter what.
