If I get an X plan number is there a site I can go to to get pricing under X plan? How else do I figure X plan pricing. Also am I correct when I say under X plan pricing the dealer is made whole? If so why do some not  want to sell under the Xplan?

I would like to find out the procedure as well. The Company I work for has an "X" plan fleet number. Would I be able to purchase an 05 Mustang through this program directly through the dealer or would my employer have to buy it first and then I buy it from my employer?
I would appreciate any help.

There is a thread here which gives detail to the subject....
But It is my understanding that dealers don't have to honor X-Plan.
They make more money that way.... Although I found one that does.
As far as pricing.... Consider for a loaded GT X-Plan to be around 25 or 26.
That's what I am paying for an X-Plan GT.

another idea to get the best deal is find a dealer that will do $500 over invoice, and then sign up for AQHA to receive a $500 incentive from ford. this will put you at invoice. which i think is better than x plan pricing.

Nice pic of an invoice showing invoice, retail, x/a pricing on a GT here:

X-plan is below Invoice
So: Mustang GT Deluxe is invoiced at $22,288 and MSRP is $24,370
22288 x .02 = 445.76. 22288- 445.76= 21842.24x 1.04 =22715.93 +$150 = 22865.93 (X plan price)
In this example X-plan is 577.93 more than invoice and $1504.07 below MSRP.

If you go to the Ford Partner web site (http://www.fordpartner.com), select Mustang under Vehicles & Pricing and the click on the FordDirect link, you'll link to the Ford Direct website in X-plan mode. You'll see both the MSRP as well as the X-Plan prices. The only downside is that the '05 isn't listed yet.

You're correct. And for those that disagree, here's a screenshot from the Ford Partner website:

I see this quote on how to figure X plan all the time on this site. This is wrong! Go to the FAQ's and read up on it. This is the info I sent Brad and Dan on how to figure it. But basically, it is A plan price + 4% + $150. This is usually within $50 of invoice. The good thing about X plan is that you don't have to haggle price and the dealer can't add their ripoff dealership fees to the price.
If the A-plan price is 2% below the invoice price then the above would be correct.
This all started when TonyB84 said at http://forums.bradbarnett.net/index.php?sh...hl=a-plan&st=20
So, now that we know the prices we can calculate the x-plan price. I know that x-plan is 4% above a-plan, which is 2% above invoice.
A plan used to be 2% below the invoice "dealer price". Ford repaid the dealer for the 2% that was lost.
On the 04 Mach 1 the X-plan varied between + or- $35 of the invoice.
Bottom line is until someone actually provide the no kidding A-Plan prices, people are only able to make estimates of the X-plan prices.
I searched for the A-plan price on the forum but came up with nothing specific.
If some one has the A-plan prices please post, so we can end this confusion.

My understanding is that A plan is 2% below invoice w/holdback. X plan is A plan plus 4%. The formula is as follows....
Invoice plus holdback, minus 2%, plus 4%.
In most cases this is approximately $500- $700 above invoice w/holdback. That is why many on this forum have gotten $500.00 over invoice agreements. They're basically getting X plan price.

I'm not sure if this is correct, but if you do the math, "A" plan pricing should be 4.2915% below invoice. I used the prices listed in this thread
http://forums.bradbarnett.net/index.php?showtopic=6896
invioce 25049.55- 4.2915%= 23974.55(A plan price)
for X plan use A plan + 4% + 150 or
23974.55 x 1.04 = 24933.53 + 150 = 25083.53

Sorry AFBLUE but your calculations are incorrect. I have my order confirmation sheet with full pricing right here.
Invoice 24796.55
MSRP 26815
A/Z/D plan 23729.55
X-plan 24828.73
X-plan is definitely A plan(23729.55) +4%(949.18) +$150=24828.73. Do the math, it works.
It is not invoice(24796.55)-2%(495.93)+4%(979.22)+$150=25429.84. The math doesn't work.
This is not correct. X-plan is much less than $500-$700 over invoice. This is my second X-plan purchase and both have been less than $100 over invoice.

Thanks Mellow Yellow! I have purchased several cars on X plan and have the proof of how the deal is done, as have you. If others want to believe otherwise then have at it. I know the facts!
