X-Plan Dealers in NJ/PA/NY, etc
I want to order a 2006 Mustang GT Convertible, but my local dealers in central NJ are giving me the run-around about ordering via X-Plan.
They either won't let me order with X-Plan, or they state that they will give it a low priority - which means I'd be lucky to see it this year.
Can anyone recommend a dealer in the NJ/PA/NY or even further areas, that will take the X-plan, won't screw me on priority, and won't give me the run-around?
Thank you

You could try Village Ford - some guys got X from them back in Jan.
You can try Montrose ford in Medina Ohio. I had to go there because no dealers in VA would give me the A plan. There phone number is 800-860-3366. My salesman was Don. Forget what his last name was though. Tell him Steve M. sent ya.

If you can go upstate, talk to Karpro a.k.a Paul. If he's not around, you can try to PM him.

Yeah, what he said! Paul is the Best. He treated me right and even went out-of-his-way, to get my deal done. I know I've said it many times, but THANKS PAUL.Dave...
Ridgewood, NJ - Village Ford. It's worth a try. Karpro would be your best bet - he is honest and won't give you a line of BS. When I was not going to get my 05 I called a few dealers and none were able to do a X-Plan.
Here is what you need. Jeff (05fordgt) is a salesman in Landsdale, PA who accepts X-plans at his dealership. I would suggest sending him a pm. Go here to do so http://forums.bradbarnett.net/index.php?showuser=1168
Link below explains why his dealership is willling to accept Ford plans.

Hello
I am new to this forum and I need to ask a question of those of you who have been here a while. It is my understanding that a while back a purchaser of the new mustang and member of this forum ran into the same thing that I have run into. Apparently this purchaser was Ford-plan eligible and had purchased a Mustang through a Detriot area dealership using his plan. At lhe last moment the dealership attempted to force him to take "mandatory dealer options" at unbelievable mark-up in an effort to increase dealer profit. Is anyone aware of who this memeber might be or aware of this situation. I need to speak with him/her as the same thing has happened to me and I would like as much ammunition as possible before I go to Ford with the complaint. Email me any info at nyc12f@aol.com. Thanks.

We are the only dealer in my area that aren't marking the cars up at all. Just this past Sunday, I went to another dealer close to us in Doylestown, (for those in the area reading this, they will know who I am talking about), and they have a pretty loaded V6 Premium with IUP, ICAP, Automatic, and a few other options. List was just under $25K. They wanted almost $30,000 for it :nono: . My dealership will NEVER do this. If I could take orders for the cars with X-Plan, I would do it, believe me, but I am only able to do what I am told to do.
I actually got a PM today from PABruin, a member of the forum, and I called him to let him know about or X-Plan decision, as he wants to order one as well. I told him exactly what is up, and he understands 100%. He understands he will have to pay MSRP, but was looking at the X-Plan as a bonus if he can find a dealer that will truthfully honor it.
I love this site, I believe its the best Mustang and automotive website on the net. I love my job, as I am a real car nut, and I really like helping people on here, and don't want to disappoint anyone who may call me thinking I can order them a car X-Plan and not be able to do it. I just wanted to be upfront and honest with the decision. I just wish FOMOCO can produce alot more of these for the 2006 MY, so we can start offering it again. Thank you all for your time in reading this

Hey Mark, thanks for the nice compliment. I have sold 2 cars this year at my dealership that were X-Plan, but unfortunately, I am told by my bosses, (NOT MY DECISION, BUT MANAGEMENT) that we aren't accepting X-Plan deals for the 2006 model year. I just wanted to be upfront and honest about it, so I don't suprise anyone who may be in my area and calls me. The link to topic #24093 was my general opinion on why Plan deals were a good thing.

That's too bad about the X-Plan. I'm X-Plan eligible in Sept, so I hope that someone out there is taking them on 06 Mustang GTs. I'm sure you will let us know if your Management changes its decision on X-Plans.
Sorry to all those I misinformed (gave false hope to).
Mark
PS: Maybe we should start a sticky with all the dealerships that accept X-Plans across America (accept them on Mustangs)
