X-Plan
I'm new to the forum and had a question for you guys. If you are able to use the X-plan are you still able to take advantage of any rebates or cash back offers that exist?
Thanks very much, great site, can't wait to get my 05 Mustang.

I have a question for Kevin or Dan. Is it possible to negotiate on a lower price if you get A-plan already? Is there still room to negotiate there?

No, an A-plan is for Ford Motor Company employee's or their relatives only. Ford Dealer employee's do not get them. A Ford Motor Company employee can give anyone an X-plan. You really can't negotiate either price but you can negotiate your trade in price. I've had my trade value vary by as much as $3000.

Thanks, I have never tried negotiating the price. I've always used A or Z plan to buy my fords. Fortunatly, I have a few family members working there. Not sure what the discount will be on a mustang, but I have always got $5000-$6000 savings on my Ford F-150's.
Any idea how much the dealer makes on A or Z Plan sales?

It is reimbursed to 2% over invoice by Ford as long as the pin is legit.
